This bed rail has a soft, padded design that feels safe for my toddler, and it does help prevent rollouts to some extent. However, it’s a bit frustrating to snap together during setup, and the biggest issue is that it tends to slide down or push away from the mattress over time. That really defeats the purpose, especially if your child moves around a lot. It’s better than nothing, but I wish it stayed in place more securely.

It looks sturdy and well made and i expect it to work well, but I can't get past the strong chemical smell of the foam. I opened this and took it straight out to my deck. I didn't even want to touch it with my bare hands it smelled so strong. Pretty sure the foam pad was vacuum sealed immediately after manufacture. Either that or they're using a bad foam. Last time I got a vacuum sealed product that smelled bad it took over a month for it to off-gas to the point of usability. And that one wasn't as strong as this one. If the company allowed it to air before packaging that would go a long way. As it is, I won't be using this for several weeks, if ever.

Good size. Easy to assemble. Comfortable to sleep against and strong enough not to tip. Good safe option to prevent falls without being big and bulky.

Great for its purpose, which is keeping my baby from rolling out of our bed in the middle of the night. If your toddler climbs it of course they’ll fall, definitely be vigilant of that. It has a cute and sleek look compared to other types of this item. My partner assembled it in like 10 minutes. It comes with pretty straightforward directions. The foam inside isn’t as flimsy as I was afraid it would be. I was afraid my baby may be able to fall through, but it’s sturdy. It would not be uncomfortable if baby rolled into it in the night. I’m happy with it.
