Works well! Nice solid seal and I like that it has different internal containers and lids. It's easy to clean the parts that actually hold food. I also like that the cord and charger fit inside the container, so when I'm storing it in a cabinet everything is together. This is great for lunch at school or work when I don't have easy kitchen access; it's great to have the option of a hot meal. And it also is pretty insulating for cold meals as well! Easily fits everything I want and seals solidly; no issues with leaking. I like the color too; it's very classy.

This bento heat up lunch box is great. I was worried thinking it may be wouldn't heat up much but this did not disappoint.First it comes with AC and car adapters, silicone lid and small insert and the metal tin I side for food.This was very easy to use. Do read I steuctions and make sure to press that vent release button when you start to allow for pressure flow.So it said it takes about 45 minutes to beat and I thought hmmm that's a long time, but I tested it out using the AC plug in the wall and put some left over pasta I had inside.You can feel the box heating up on the outside but its not too hot to touch. Simply press the button and it lights up and wait. It waited the 45 mins and the pasta was HOT!! And not just on the side or here and there I mixed it will and the pasta was thoroughly heated throughout. I'm impressed.So this would be good use for work if you have a place to plug it in before break time or for me I love to go fishing alot, so e times at night and it would be great to have a hot meal. I can plug in my car light or use the AC plug in my car while I'm out fishing (usually hours) and ha e a hot meal. Or can be used while taking a long drive with the family on a road trip or to a destination.It does get hot inside so use caution with the metal insert. But the material I think is silicone on the outside of the box itself and keeps it cooler to the touch.Looking forward to using this while out and about. Another great on the go item for our outdoor adventure gear.

It heats up food to 185F in about 45 minutes. I like the design, and quality materials used.

This is a perfect option for those who eat at their desk and don't want to constantly eat out. It works exactly as described and offers a perfect way to evenly warm your food by plugging in the USB cord. It also holds a lot! We used it with a curry dish that typically makes enough for 4 meals and it held enough for about 2 1/2 on one side. It also warmed vegetables very well without making them mushy or under heated. It has a car adapter, as well so for the soccer mom who wants to watch from the car but stick to a nutrition plan, this is the bento box for you! The only drawbacks are that it can be a little heavy. This might not be a problem for most, but I let my Manhanttanite child use it and she said lugging it around on the subways was a bit cumbersome. Her solution was to leave the outer shell at the office and only travel with the silver insulation piece. This might not be ideal for some people, however, we also did discover that the entire box can fit into a square shaped travel lunchbox so that made it easier to travel on public transit. Another drawback is that the silver heat element is not entirely covered so you would want to be careful leaving it around children who might touch it. It takes about 45 minutes to heat everything, but again, if you are using it to eat through lunch at your desk, it is pretty easy to carve out time to preheat. I'm most impressed with how much food this holds, and of course it is really easy to clean because the food doesn't stick terribly to the silver insulator making this an ideal way to eat at work or anywhere that you might have to be for an extended amount of time.

I was really excited to have received this portable electric lunch box but I noticed when I plugged it in using the charger for the car my car battery started acting weird and didn't want to start. This seems to happen every time I plug this lunch box in. It takes a couple of tries before the car will start up. The other thing I was disappointed about is that this didn't come with utensils or at the very least a convenient slot to place the utensils. I'm also not sure if the small silicone container is for colder items or if warm items are to be used instead. Will it heat up items inside the silicone container or just the metal container? Aside from that, the size of this lunch box is perfect and I do find it very easy to clean, as the metal food holder is removable and so is the silicone food container.
