Purchased these back in May of 2017, 8 years ago now, to replace the stock mirrors on my 98 TJ, these still look good as new and work great. I see the price has almost doubled as to what I bought them for, which is questionable, but in their defense they have held up for almost a decade now!

I purchased these mirrors back in 2019 and was quite happy until the passenger side broke. My Jeep is not driven a lot; less than 3,000 miles a year and is garage kept. It appears that the internal mechanism that holds the mirror in place broke because it now just flops back and forth.I knew it was a long shot, but I submitted a warranty claim. After providing proof of purchase and going back a couple of times I was told that it was due to "normal wear and tear" which is completely bogus. I would have preferred them saying "Hey, this product shouldn't have broken like that and this type of failure is not normal, but because the warranty is past, you're just out of luck and we will not be replacing it for free." Instead they make it sound like five years is about the normal lifespan these things last..They did offer a one time discount of 15%, but since my original purchase, the price is now over 80% higher. I would think twice about buying these mirrors. If they aren't made to last more than 5 years you're better off buying a less expensive brand. I would avoid buying these.

These mirrors look great on my TJ and are a big improvement over the stock mirrors that always needed adjusting. They were easy to install, less than 10 minutes for both. I kept the original rubber backings and used them with the news mirrors for a nice snug fit. Highly recommend.

Finally a pair of mirrors that don't flop. Plastic, only mirror moves.

I have bought 2 sets of mirrors prior to finally spending the money on these. Should’ve bought these the first time. The mirror inside the body adjusts rather than the entire body that holds the mirror. This allows the mirror to stay in adjustment. My old mirrors would always move out of adjustment because the whole body moves as your driving down the road results in never staying adjusted. I would recommend these to anybody. NOTE: I drilled and tapped my YJ door hinges to allow this style mirror to attach.

Nice mirrors for my 98 tj. Bought another brand on here and they were junk so tried these. Very sturdy, no vibration or shaking. Very happy now.

I really like the look of the mirrors on my Jeep TJ. The flat black goes well with the look I have on my jeep. The build quality is good for a plastic mirror (very thick plastic). They are very solid and will never flop down in the wind like my old OEM mirrors!

I have a 1999 Wrangler with half doors. Everytime the door was opened and closed, the stock mirrors would shift out of position and hitting any kind of hard bumps would also shift them out of position. This wasn't a huge problem with the top down as it is easy to look around you and see other vehicles. With the top up however, the mirrors do help with visibility. I had tried to tighten the adjustment screws, but the mirrors were just plain worn out. These are a much better design and bolted on without any trouble at all. The mirrors do not change position at all with opening and closing the door or bumps and they look much better, in my opinion. Overall fit and finish is excellent for what they are. So, a fast, easy, direct bolt on upgrade that took 10 minutes. I have had them for a little less than a year, but see no reason why they wouldn't last a long time.

Doesnt fit around the hinge. Theyre not big enough to clear the hinge and sit flush against the body. The door side (opposite of the hinge bolt) isnt long enough to clear all the way around the hinge. Mind you i never had stock mirrors i had body mirrors originally, so i do not know how the mirrors should sit. also i had button head srews not the counter sunk screws like all the other body panels. DONT THINK YOU NEED COUNTER SUNK SCREWS, CAUSE YOU DONT. MOUNT THEM WITH THE BUTTON HEAD SCREWS IF YOUR JEEP HAS THEM ON THE HINGES. THE PROBLEM IS THE MIRROS NOT LONG ENOUGH TO FIT AROUND THE HINGE . I KNOW CAUSE I COUNTERSUNK THE HINGE BOLTS AND NOTHING CHANGED. IT STILL FIT FUNNY. THATS WHAT IM LEFT WITH. THE PICTURES SHOW DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE MIRRORS NOT FITTING. BESTOP IF THIS IS JUST A BAD PAIR CAN YOU SEND ME NEW ONES???? 2005 JEEP Wrangler X. Please and thankyou!!
