I wasn’t completely convinced that these stones would work on the barbecue, but they are the best thing I have ever tried for cleaning. 100 times better than using wire brushes and the wood scrapers

I had tried one of these years ago but made the mistake of warming the grill first (as needed with brush-based scrapers). Don't heat your grill! Just rub the pumice stone across the cold grates and you won't believe how well it cleans them. I then heat the grill and then rub the grates with veg oil and paper towel before cooking. This will ensure there is no pumice residual and that food won't stick.The grills stay looking pristine after each use.

I ordered this products and when I opened to package there was powder in the packaging, It was extreamly light in weight and I knew at that moment This was not a tru stone. By the time I was able to use it the 30 day return window had closed so I was now stuck with it. I thought I woudl give it a try just to see if my instinct was correct. Sure enough, this was as disappointing as I suspected it to be. I bought the 3 pack with the handle. This is NOT recommended to use. The stone turns into powders and stickes to the grill. I had to wash it off with soap and water before I couuld use the grill, otherwise all that stoned powder would be on the food. I don't underrstand how there are so many 5 star ratings because PEOPLE, THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK. IT'S A WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I love it! Left my grilling surface good as new! Super clean. I did use a wire brush for in between the sides as the block/stone hasn't yet formed to the grill grate as its new. Folks are complaining about the dusty aftermath, but if you follow the directions and wipe it down afterwards you're good to go for your next cook! It's super easy to use. I wish I got this sooner!
