We got this little RC boat for my 10-year-old daughter so she could have one to race around the pool at the same time I'm using my bigger RC boat. The battery lasted about 12 minutes. It does take a while to charge it though. Controls are simple but it does not turn very sharp and it took a little getting used to for my daughter to control it right. It's price very low so I wasn't really that concerned about her messing it up. But it actually has proved to be quite reliable. Will you use it at the pool at least a dozen times and it works fine still. The water shooting out is kind of a gimmick. My larger RC boat has it also and it shoots about 10 times as far. She didn't seem to care much about that though just driving it around is entertainment enough. There was no problem with losing control of the boat from one end of the pool to the other. And this is a full size inground pool. I think it's definitely worth the price to add a little extra entertainment for kids at the pool. But if you're planning to get it because of the water cannon part, I don't think you'll be very satisfied because the steering is not tight enough and the water stream is not strong enough to be able to really aim and point it anywhere. But as I stated before she found more fun just from driving the boat around, and it does good enough for a child in that department.

Ordered this radio-controlled boat for my son — and it exceeded expectations! Bright design, backlight and convenient controls make the game exciting. The case is waterproof, everything works great. Perfect for fun on the water on warm days.

I got this for my 4 year old and she loves it. Really cool that it shoots out water. Flawless for my daughter but couple of gripes to mention. There isn't a steering trim adjustment so it always turns and you can’t it to drive straight. In order to charge the boat you have to use a screw driver to take off the battery panel. Major pain so that is went i took off a star.
