I got these for my ebike, which is essentially my car replacement pseudo-motorcycle. I don't usually use any kind of auxiliary safety stuff like this on my manual bikes, but I often ride the ebike at or above 30 mph and in traffic, so I treat it more like an auto than a bike, and therefore want additional safety options. Overall, I'm pleased with these. They're well packaged and easy to install, and most importantly they work well. They feature good visibility and adjustable angles, so everything car side mirrors do, really. As far as drawbacks are concerned, first, these only come with a single hex nut per mirror/side. There are multiple size options and bits and bobs to adjust the apparatus for different handlebar diameters, but only one microscopically small hex nut comes with each mirror, and if you drop one and lose it... Also, the adjuster pieces for smaller handlebar diameters have their own end caps of a similar size, but the depression in the back of these doesn't even accommodate the single hex nut, which means they're essentially unusable. I ended up using all the smaller-diameter pieces per side but with the larger end caps because the smaller end cap pieces couldn't be used. Finally, like most cheap bike products (most products in general, really), these mirrors feature the brand name of the manufacturer on the rear face. Personally, I can't stand logos and brand names showing on anything I wear or use, so I covered mine with black electrical tape. Just a personal preference, and not really an indictment of the product, but something to be aware of in any case.Overall, TLDR, I recommend this product. I definitely feel much safer having it and using it on my ebike, though for my preferences (and probably most other peoples'), it's probably not necessary on manual bikes and for casual riders. 4/5
