1.Ensure pre-drilled holes!
Ensure the bicycle frame has pre-drilled holes and that the hole spacing is compatible! M5 x 12 screw (3mm Allen wrench)
2.Align the Bracket
Position the cage bracket so its holes match the pre-drilled holes on your bike's down tube.
3.Part-tighten first screw
Insert and hand-tighten the first screw with a wrench (do not fully tighten yet).
4.Secure both evenly
Insert and hand-tighten the second screw.
Alternate tightening both screws evenly until fully secured. Avoid over-tightening.
Four-point support, large base, more stable.

This water bottle holder feels really well made. The aluminum is strong but super light, so it doesn't add any bulk to my bike. The edges are smooth, so my water bottle doesn’t get scratched up. It holds my bottle firmly with no rattling, even on bumpier rides.
