Unimet Battery-Operated ScrewdriverSold by: Amazon EU S.a.r.L.£8.50Condition: Newthere would have been £4.75 P+P but my order had more than £20 of stuff from Amazon so the P+P was free (sorry that's not about the product)hassle free transaction -as always with Amazon (sorry Amazon that's not about the product)I thought I'd reviewed this before - but it could've been bounced - who knows (sorry Amazon that's not about the product)This is a great little screwdriver. It fills the hand nicely and has a good heft to it. IT feels nice and solid. But it is also not too big and heavy. So ideal for everyone. I hope you understand what I'm trying not to say. I used it with some drill bit that's have a hexagonal shaft and was able to drill small pilot holes for the screw I used. I should stress that it is not a drill but you can use it as one for small holes in anything that isn't too tough. My pilot holes were in all the doors at work. The batteries come with it - so it can be used straight out of the box - or in this case the blow moulded package.I like that it uses 4 AA batteries (supplied) this means its 6volts - that's as good as or 30% better than some of the chargeable cheap one around.it also means you don't have to wait to until its charged - possibly borrow the batteries from remotes or torches to quickly do a job.So far I've drilled over 40 pilot holes and screwed in over 40 small screws putting door numbers on all the doors. and only now can I detect the slightest drop in oomph. I don't know how many more it will do but for my old arms and hands drilling over head height and screwing at the same height would limit the amount I could do in any one day. With this it save my arms and wrists and meant I didn't ache the next day.Its about 21cm (8 1/2 in) over all in length and about 5 cm (2 in) thick). so fits comfortably in the hand. It has 2 buttons - one on each side (i.e. opposite each other) one with and arrow forward one with and arrow back. That's right one screws in one unscrews. It came with 5 'bits' 2 Philips head, one slot head and a couple of other - I think and Allenkey style (?) and a star shaped one (?)for the price I'd say this is not a professional's tool. But for the elderly or people with less strength and who are not embarking on maoj DIY projects but just want a small driver to take the grunt out of occasional screwing requirements this is ideal - no charger to keep with it just pick it up and go,One cautionary: I haven't used it on a really big screwing requirement - I have to say that I just don't know how well it would fare. I'd go further and say that I WONT use it anything I suspect will be too tough. I don't want to risk burning it out. (i'm too tight to risk it and have to buy another)I'm really pleased with it as there are often hooks to put up pictures to hang odd lose screw to tighten and appliances that need the cover taken off etc and for the price I'm REALLY REALLY pleased.ACID TEST: would I buy again/recommend? YES
