this has helped cutback on the backwash time as i have lots of tree leaves, pine needles, etc. and the other sediment that blows into the pool.

These savers are the bomb! They trap debris and dirt that would go into the pump and sand. My pool has been 70 percent cleaner than before. I don't have to vacuum nearly as often.

Product works, it's a great idea but all 3 filter covers in use on my pool tore, ripped, broke in 3 weeks. I'll just clean my cartridges as before, can't afford to use product all year with 3 skimmers and only a 3 week life. I asked seller how long product should last, they confirmed the short life.
