Did not use for fire. This was repurposed to an ornamental duck pond for yard décor by cutting it horizontally in half and using the top for the pond border, filling with figurines and surrounding with plants.

Does the Job. Noticed that inner wall will warp, change color due to thinness of the metal. But for the money it will do the job of containing, allowing you to create different temperature zones within the pit.
