THe watch itself is beautiful. The gears visibly working is really something to just watch work. It can be manually wound but will self wind through out the day as you wear it. The back plate is see through so you can see more of the machinery in action and the finish is very smooth and comfortable to wear.

Wow…I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve received soooo many compliments on my new WOODEN watch. I really appreciate the watch is self-winding, NO BATTERIES REQUIRED. The watch looks like a very high end watch with its see thru case. One can see the watch mechanism moving, very nice. It may appear a little bulky but several high end watches are bulky. I love the different color options available, green is my favorite. The price is very reasonable. This would be a very nice gift whatever the occasion. Hands down I love this product. Just a reminder, one must wear the watch to keep it running. If it stops, after you put it on your wrist and set it , it keeps good time. Love, love, love it. Update! Ever since I started wearing this watch, I have received so many, many compliments. Did I mention, I LOVE THIS WATCH!

this is such a nice watch very high quality i had to come back and check to see what it was made out of as it feels kind of like stone it doesnt have a battery so it lasts for ever essentially its a nice change from having a digital watch a little freeing to be able to have just the time on your wrist.

As far as I can tell, this is a true mechanical watch. You can see all the inner workings, which is cool, and the band and housing are lovely. Really beautiful!

Where to begin with this watch?It's an interesting piece. The wood and resin makes a unique design that will be eye catching. It's automatic, which is a good thing, in my book. And it's a skeleton watch, which adds to the eye-catching factor. I was genuinely surprised by the band, which felt soft and was pleasantly malleable.That's where the good in my opinion ends. The watch is big. It rises pretty high off the wrist, which I'm really not a fan of. It's just really bulky. A resin lens is, in my opinion, unacceptable at this price, especially when other companies offer sapphire or even just mineral glass. I understand that the shape is nonstandard, but I'd like to see it improved. Finally, there's the brand name. Bobobird is a goofy name for a watch brand. And while the branding isn't obnoxiously done, it is there on the bottom of the dial.Additional Specs:Movement: Miyota 8N24 (according to website, I couldn't identify it myself)Lume: Yes, on each hand. Doesn't last super long.Band Width: 22mm.Face Dimensions: 45x45x13.5mm, give or take.Case Materials: Wood and resin.Lens Material: Resin.Duration@Full Wind: Less than 2 days. Around 40 hours, if movement is correct.Look, 8N24 movements are fine. It's a solid workhorse with a few minor issues. The watch itself is unique. Wood and resin is neat as a case. All in all, is it my kind of watch? Not really. Far too bulky. But, it may be your kind of watch.

Very nice looking quality watch at a reasonable price. My Bf loves the look and feel of this watch with the open face to see the mechanical insides at work. He keeps finding more and more reasons to wear a watch with this one. The materials are high quality and the finish on the watch face is superb. This is definitely a watch you can wear to an office job or out for any type of event.

I haven't owned a mechanical watch since the 1970s, and this one cheers my heart. I love that you can see the mechanism working through the face, but still read the time easily. It's a chunky watch, especially on my skinny old-man wrist, but it's always going to be a statement no matter what kind of wrist it's on. And really, it's no bulkier than some sports chronograph watches I've worn. The leather strap is very comfortable. The wood/resin case oozes charm and warmth. Remember that if you don't wear or wind your mechanical watch, it will stop the next day. (This one has a self-wind mechanism that automatically winds your watch when you're wearing it and moving.)This watch goes into regular rotation alongside my decades-old Timex. Love it!

I love this watch, and it is surely different in packaging and the whole wood thing. Not sure how long it will last, but the wife has claimed it, saying it is more girly girly. Well, she wins and now she is showing it off and enjoying its unique style and look. It gets much attention, I must add, from a positive and curious perspective.
