The pad material seems fine - good feel and no noise. But the spring that pushes the two pads apart is a bit too wide, which causes problems in the latest (2024 model year) Shimano XTR brake calipers. The springs touch the inside of the caliper housing, and rub against it. This causes the pads to get stuck for a bit, until they move when you apply more pressure a the lever. So they move in a jerky motion, which you can feel at the lever. This could be avoided if the manufacturer made the springs to the same size and shape as the original Shimano part. I ended up replacing the springs with the original Shimano springs. For the much lower price, it's acceptable to have some issues, but you should be aware of this problem so you know to keep the Shimano springs.

These were a fine replacement for Shimano the pads that came on the bike but had worn out.
