I bought two of these Boston Leather belts (1-3/4" Garrison Belt 6505) in 1999 or 2000. I chose one and wore the thing every day until it broke yesterday, December 20, 2018. Good thing I still have the spare! I'm buying this one now in case they stop making them in another 18-19 years.A very strong, thick belt! Starts out VERY stiff, but softens with use.*** UPDATED ***...and after daily use, the spare mentioned above broke today, November 29, 2024. Even if it wasn't nearly 20 years old to start, six years is a pretty good lifespan for a belt, don't you think?
