Note: If you have a E61 group head it should fit fine. Some E61 group heads and factory portafilters have very slight height differences that are able to be overcome when using alternative portafilters by using a (thinner or thicker gasket) on the group head. Hope this helps!

The portafilter handle itself is fine. It’s the filter basket that causes leaks around the perimeter. So buy a new basket if you have this isssue.Giving 3 because I had to take the time to figure that out. Also it feels kind of cheap. Which is what you pay for.

I found that it is the Exact Size of my other portafilter that is not bottomless. It looks and feels like it is good quality. It works well and is an important part of our journey towards the Perfect Cup Of Expresso!🥰

Simply a very well made tool. Perfect fit for the basket, and into my Rancilio silvia. Solid materials and perfect weight, feels great to use it.

It works, it's not very heavy but works fine for home use. For professional use you may want something better. I upgraded the basket but the one it comes with works ok.

The lugs that lock into the group head of the espresso machine are tapered which cause poor seating. The one I tried popped out of the group head and left me with a 2nd degree burn on my leg.

If you have an espresso machine of any quality that employs commercial portafilters, you probably won't be happy with this. It's much lighter weight that my Rancilio equipment, and this one suffers so much in the comparison that i'm not bothering to try its coffee, just returning. It doesn't have the mass and heft to hold the heat. It feels cheap. The double filter basket looks good, but is unlabeled, it has no marking on it. You can see the machining circles impressed in the finish, but the holes are even and regular in size. I'm ordering the Rancilio branded bottomless portafilter, I think we will be happier with it.
