If you choose to buy this aluminum anode rod, be aware that you will need to replace it again after a year+ of use. I had to replace mine only after 16 months, because hot water was constantly rusty.Attached photo shows disintegration of the aluminum rod on the left and the original magnesium rod on the right after 6+ years of use.At the time of writing this review, I installed a new OEM magnesium rod.

The body has no use of aluminum. magnesium is better in my option, look up dangers of aluminum of the body.

worked great cut to fit, easy no leaks, used in a Bradford white 19 gallon, will need to be replaced often do to its factory short length I will make a label on the tank and replace yearly due to original short life.
