Why my dog did like this flavor. She didn't go as crazy over it as the other flavors. My cats also didn't seem to be too crazy about it but they did want to snack on it when I put it out. The value on these pretty good. It's not bad. I like that the first ingredient is meat but there are byproducts and some other ingredients that are not as good.This is described as having gravy but in my experience these are mostly just pate/loaves and a bowl. With a little tuna gravy.

Amazon Brand - Wonder Bound Small Breed Wet Dog Food, Porterhouse Flavor is all loaf and no gravy. My dog wasn't excited about this food, but he will eat it. He enjoyed this flavor much more than he did others from this brand. This has too many ingredients and is very processed. I like that this has added vitamins. The food is easy to serve. I like single serve food because it's the freshest you can give to your pets. Food that require refrigeration after opening aren't as appealing to my dog.

I use pate and loafs like these as meal toppers here and there as treats. Beef in general isn't one of her favorite flavors, but when these came in, she was pawing at the box to open it. I got a few of the different Wonder Bound flavors, and she liked them all. She chows them down quickly, too. They seem to be an easy way to get her to eat if she's not feeling up to it.Definitely dog approved. I like it because it mashes easily and she loves it. The ingredients aren't perfect, but pates and loafs aren't healthy, they're treats.

My pets have tried Amazon's Wonder Bound pet foods several times in the past and normally like them. This is our first time trying the Small Breed Porterhouse Loaf in Gravy.We have 3 dogs - 1 large, 1 medium, and 1 small. These containers are the perfect size for a small sized dog. Don't let the 3.5 oz container size fool you! There is a nice portion of food in there! :)The food looks just like it does in the advertised photo - a loaf style pate. The pate consistency isn't super pasty or sticky. It serves easily out of the container and mixes well with their dry food.In regards to the ingredients, this dog food is on par with most mainstream brands. My dogs use it as a topper for their dry food so I am okay with the ingredients since they aren't eating it as their sole diet.I appreciate that this food doesn't contain any artificial flavors or any wheat, soy or corn. Beef is the #1 ingredient and my dogs definitely appreciate that!Our medium sized dog is a senior and he has trouble chewing certain foods and treats. These are so soft and easy for him to eat! He has no issues with them whatsoever and gobbles the food up instantaneously.Obviously if you have larger dogs, these smaller 3.5 oz containers won't be a great value. However, if you have small dogs or use wet food as a dry food topper, I would recommend giving them a try. They were a hit in our household! Even the cat wanted to eat it!!!

My two elderly dogs love when I add these to their food as a topper. The portion sizes are perfect for that purpose! Of course, these also work as a complete, nutritional meal for small dogs.Aside from being a decent quality food, there are several other reasons I like these meals. For example, sometimes I give the dogs one as a midday or post-walk treat. In addition, one of my dogs chokes on hard kibbles and this soft formula is easy for her to chew and swallow. The same dog is also prone to episodes of low blood sugar and these are portable and easy to take along to avoid any episodes.

My pup can be a fussy and nervous eater so to entice her; I use this food as a mix in or topper. She loves the taste as she always finishes her food when I supplement with this product. It's a meaty formulation that she truly enjoys. I love that their is no added grain like corn or wheat. She does have allergies, and this food hasn't caused her any irritation. The first ingredients are beef and chicken broth which show the high quality of food here, I trust this brand and food for my pup. Highly recommend to anyone who wants their pup on a good high quality meal formula.

Wonder Bound wet loaf dog food is new to me. I got a couple of different ones and have to say Porterhouse was his favorite. I didn't taste it so you have to take my dog's word at face value. Get this wet loaf for a variety of reasons. The texture is soft to help make eating easier for dogs with dental disease. If you have a fussy eater, you can use it as a topper to help encourage a dog's appetite by mixing it in with dry food. For older dogs, use it to provide extra calories. I use it because my dog eats so darn fast. I add it to his slow feeder so he basically has to lick it. It's helped so much with bloating. That's why I use wet load type dog food. Thanks!

As always, I waited before reviewing this Wonder Bound Small Breed Wet Dog Food because I'm more interested in how it holds up during a regular Tuesday dinner frenzy than how exciting it was to open the box. We've been rotating through Beef, Porterhouse, Filet Migon (I know), and Grilled Chicken for a few weeks now, and my Husky and Shiba Inu have been enthusiastically polishing off their bowls—no suspicious sniffing, and more importantly, no upset tummies despite our liberal flavor-swapping.I use these as a topper for their kibble, and the loaf-in-gravy texture mixes in effortlessly without looking like mystery meat. The portion size is just right to jazz up a meal without going overboard, and I haven’t had to scrub any dishes—just watch two very satisfied pups lounge around afterward like they just had steakhouse reservations. Porterhouse might be their current front-runner, though it’s possible they just like the way I say it out loud like I’m reading from a fine dining menu.Thanks for stopping by to read my review!
