ANTIQUANA leather case compass was a wonderful gift to give a dear friend who had a change of life and was a bit nervous. A gift like this says what sometimes can be difficult to articulate, but looks well thought-out and momentful. A very unique item that wont be easily forgotten for a friend or family member. The compass does work, and the crafting was mass produced but looked better than average.

I ordered 5 grandson ones. I received 3, which are great. I really like them. The 2 others have a Psalms on them. Not what I ordered and not what I want.

This compass looks and works great! I actually keep this in a nice vest that I wear on occasion and it completes the look perfectly. I appreciate the sentimental quote on the back and how genuine this piece is.Wonderful value for a timeless piece!

I got this compass to give to my grandson as a gift when he gets closer to his teen years. It will make a wonderful gift and says to him just how I feel. It has a nice and thick leather case to keep the compass in for protection. It really makes a wonderful keepsake for him to have and is also a very practical item to use. I also really like the antique style of this compass and case. I was really happy with this product and the way it looks and works.

My grandson just turned 13 and I got him this for his birthday. The compass, made of brass, has a weathered/antique look to it. The compass is seemingly pretty accurate. The inscription on the back is well written and the engraving is clear. As for the case, the description says it is leather, but it is very stiff and in my honest opinion if feels like cardboard with maybe a thin sheet of craft leather over it. I am not overly concerned about the case, however, as that was not the gift. The compass is very lovely and makes a great, memorable gift.
