I absolutely love this tool!I open not only a lot of paint cans but a lot of other cans of various mediums. I was hoping this would work on my other cans & it does...perfectly!I have awful RA (rheumatoid arthritis, so opening things can be quite challenging at times, with this helpful gadget that will no longer be an issue for most cans that I use.It certainly beats getting out a screwdriver, a mallet or hammer to do the job of one tool.Its sturdy, heavy-duty yet light enough to use comfortably.Intuitive, no directions required, but a full illustration on listing is shown if you need to know how to use properly.The hammer on the one end is brilliant! Assures your cans will be sealed tightly from here on out!Soft grip around handle is extremely thin-wish that was thicker, but that is really the only minus on this product.Highly recommend this to to anyone.For the price point of just $7.99 (at time of posting this 05/27/25) that is a great value for something that should last you forever!Thank you for coming up with such a wonderful invention.

This tool is needed to open the 5 gallon buckets of emergency food supplies. It is built to handle the job, which is made easier because the handle is less likely to slip from your hands. There is colored coating that somehow provides better grip than the plain metal opener we previously had. I will store this taped to the side of one of the buckets so it doesn’t get lost, and yet is easy to obtain to use. Well pleased!
