Water Lettuce Water Lettuce (pistia-stratoides) a warm water loving plant, is a lovely, rapidly multiplying little plant that grows effortlessly on the surface of the water. The leaves are medium green, velvety and form sweet little rosettes that are just 3 to 4 inches in width and grow 2 inches tall. Small plantlets form from runners from the sides of the plant while small, white, inconsequential flowers bloom within the rosette. Rosette Water Lettuce is much prettier than the Jurassic Water Lettuce.

This was a joke. Showed up in ziploc baggie, extremely small, one was practically dead, several lost their leaf pedals. Should not be allowed to be sold in this condition.

I got 2 plants and I think the other was just a slimy im not sure what it is. One plant was big and beautiful one was small and pretty good.

The listing says three plants in one place and five in another. Five came, but two were so small, gooey and brown that they had little chance of living, so three. Okay, fair enough... but one of the remaining three was also affected by rot and is taking a Long time to get better. These are a very hardy type of plant that usually just takes over a pond, but not this year. I expect to be able to nurse them into at least two healthier plants that eventually will start dividing, but when you start out with weak stock you end up losing a head start it might have been nice to have had.

Thankfully I put these in a tank that was still cycling and I've already removed 10 bladder snails from my tank, they're so tiny and hard to see they're going to be impossible to eradicate. I also noticed today a rhabdocoela worm in my tank. God only knows if there's more. Now I have to de-worm my tank and hope it takes care of the snail problem too. Do not recommend at all. Especially if you plan on adding these to a tank with fish. Do yourself a favor and quarantine them if you buy them. Or do yourself an even bigger favor and try to source these from somewhere else.To the seller; did you know that some neterite snails don't reproduce in freshwater so if you're gonna overcharge for plants, and you "have" to have snails. Do us all a favor and raise them in an environment without pests. Will never be buying plants from this company EVER AGAIN. Very well may have to recycle the tank that I've been waiting over a month an a half for, for my axolotls so I could finally get then out of their quarantine tubs.P.s. Thanks for making my life even more stressful.

1st order: At first we recieved plants, with the largest being a few inches across, however we only recieved five plants.We contacted seller, who responded very quickly. They sent additional plants of Floating lettuce, larger, and some beautiful smaller floating plants which are lovely. Packed well, in cardboard box, then in waterproof bags. Always unpack plants immediately so you can put in sun and water as soon as possible. Right now these Floating lettuce plants are definitely starting to grow in the sun, in a container. The koi and larger pond fish would eat these within a day. If you have smaller fish, they would do well. And the lovely plants that are all starting to spread, nice surprise plants that we may order next time as well. All in all, we expect to putting these plants in to the pond when they get just a little bigger. For for the price, the exceptional customer service, we added another star. Would we purchase from this company again, yes.Ordered twice more;Updated: We ordered again, twice; unfortunately the first clearly spent quite a bit of time with *mail service! By the time we received the plants, nothing but rotten lettuce and odor. We had ordered 2 sets (3 in each set) of the floating water lettuce. We were contacting seller when the second order for 1 set of water lettuce arrived. Clearly, huge difference. These arrived earlier, packaged well, and all plants were a nice size, and healthy. Always expect a few dead leaves, but easily pinched off to stimulate plants to continue to grow.Again, contacting seller. We have had excellent response from PlantBros, very quick to come to respond and offer resolution.So now we have 1 bundle/set of 3 .. with a few extra, nice bonus; large , healthy floating water lettuce, fish love them, and they already seem to to be growing. We have only positive results when dealing with PlantBros and we will continue ordering from them in the future.Still working with PlantBros on the order of 2 sets that arrived dead: which totally believe was mail issue. Give them 5 stars for service and healthy, beautiful plants.
