Like most people I have never been great at tying knots. I always found myself tying a square knot on top of a square knot on top of a square knot and I was still uncertain if it would hold while driving down the freeway. One day, while at our local disposal station, I was untying a knot in a rope that was holding down my tarp. The thought occurred to me how cool it'd be if someone would manufacture regular rope whereby a loop would protrude out of the weave continuously every couple of inches. With these loops I could take a zip tie and zip the loops together to create tension and hold stuff in place making it a knot free tie down system.

The Idea Behind The Idea

After building my first prototype and using it, I discovered it worked like a charm. With this prototype I started the patent process and began creating many more prototypes of various forms and landed on what it is today. A revolutionary bungee fastening system that absolutely eliminates the need for dangerous and limiting bungee cords, those messy cargo nets and most other light to medium duty tie downs. With no tension these measure just a little over 5 feet from end to end. If completely stretched out I would imagine they could probably reach 8 feet Maximum. I had no problem doing this. I believe some people may have a problem stretching out to max length as the single bungee is basically two bungee cords running parallel to one another. The clips the LoopRope provided are externally durable and well made. No need to buy aftermarket hooks. These would be perfect to stretch across the bed of a truck cab to tailgate or buy the three foot version and run width (link below). Buying a carabiner and clipping in the middle of the two would almost create an “X” inside the bed of your truck in either direction.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006TAF7DU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_mpiADb061VXJNIn the photos- I used these (3foot version) to run on the inside of my SUV attaching them to grip bars on the ceiling. I have no problem fitting a 10 foot fly rod that runs along the ceiling and then down the front of the windshield. I prefer this rather than storing with magnetic holders on the outside of my vehicle. I am using the loopropes in an unorthodox way! I have aerial silks and yoga trapezes set up inside for the kids. I figured a little bounce would make them more entertaining! So far, so good! I will check them periodically for wear and tear! The advertisement said that usage is only limited by ones imagination! My kids weigh waaaaaay less than the limit and I have 2 loopropes up! (Adults have also tested the ropes.) I bought one in the 5 ft length and two 3 ft. Very versatile!UPDATE : So for my purposes, the LOOPROPE didn't survive. I think about 6-7 months later, I noticed significant fraying, where I could see the white bungee cord. But they were rubbing up against stainless steel carabiners (with the swinging and bouncing that was happening). So, don't get these for aerial silks, lol!
