Take a look at where you're looking to hook these; I'm used to hooks made from 1/8-inch wire so I can insert them into small holes in the cargo area, but these wires fold back on themselves. As long as that meets your needs, then the rest of them work great.

I hadn’t tried flat bungee cords before—turns out I was missing out! The flat design distributes tension more evenly, which makes a noticeable difference. The hooks are scratch-resistant and have held up well so far, even in varying weather conditions. We’ve had no durability issues. The all-black look is sleek, though next time I might go with a brighter color to make them easier to spot. These aren’t super heavy-duty, but they’ve been more than sufficient for our needs. They come in a pack of 4 and are black.. They seem really well made and in use I had no issues with them. They are quite long at 36 inches un-stretched and were really handy in securing a small dog transport cage in the back of the car. I like the fact that they are also flat, I have never seen flat bungee cords before. The maximum load capacity is 65kg which is pretty amazing considering their size.

After recently receiving a flat bungee cord with a carabiner as the hook end I was very impressed, and wanted to try and find similar options to add more to my collection - and found these very close options.I've started using them to hold a BBQ cover that has had its velcro fail, and is outside 24/7 - so we'll see how they hold up with UV protection and being in the elements.The stretch is excellent, and allowed me to use only 2 to make it all the way around my grill cover instead of the previous 3 - and it provides a more snug hold flat against the base of said grill.Build quality felt as good as the previous green/yellow round bungee cords they're replacing on the job, and I'm excited to see how they work in other applications.

These four bungee cords are medium-duty. I have many bungee cords that are much stronger. Their 36-inch length makes them versatile; they’re useful for securing tarps, tents, bike racks, and items carried on top of my van.The product page states that they’re heat, weather, and UV-resistant, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The ropes are made of “high-quality latex silk core and high-quality black double-braided rope cover.”The hooks are well-designed, with bent thick wires that make them safer. Many bungee cords have hooks that are too pointed and covered by tiny rubber or plastic caps that are easy to lose, making them unsafe and prone to scratching or piercing the items they’re supposed to secure.These bungee cords appear to be made from four separate elastic bands, which is a plus since the failure of one band is less likely to compromise the entire cord, unlike cords made from a single braided elastic band.I haven’t had them long enough to fully assess their durability and reliability, but so far, they’re performing well. I’ll keep an eye on them and update my review if needed. For now, I recommend them.

I used these to secure storage bins and gear in the trunk of my SUV, and they’ve been great so far. The flat design really helps spread the tension across surfaces, which keeps things from shifting around or getting dented. The cords are well-made, feel heavy-duty, and the hooks are strong without being sharp or scratchy. I also like that they don’t tangle up like round bungees. I want to give these six stars out of five but that would be stretching it bit.Full marks to this set of four black bungee straps, which in my opinion and years of experience, are the best ones that I have ever used.Unlike conventional, more prevalent round corded bungees straps, these straps are flat.Also the ends are fixed and don't slide loose along the cord's length.One of the most worthy things to note, is that the metal hooks are not sharp, or have small plastic/rubber caps (that keep coming off) but are formed by looping the metal around, leaving no metal end pieces protruding; see the photographs.The whole finish is a quality one.Length per strap is 36"/91.4cm un-stretched, which can easily stretch twice as far.Apart from the conventional wheelie bin, I still use a dustbin in which, black bags are used.To stop the bags from dropping into the dustbin/collapsing when the bin's lid is removed, I have used a 1m conventional bungee cord that has worked well.However, it is tricky to attach to hold the bag in place, due to the tension required.Problem sorted!The flat bungee straps have far more stretch in them than the rounded type, the hooks are safer to use and they provide a better fit.They are not noticeable now being black and flat.These bungee cords are the opposite to being 'rubbish.'Definitely good value, especially given the quality and ease of use these give, should not leave you 'strapped' for cash.Photographs provided.

When reviewing a bungee cord, I didn't think I could say much. However, I can comment on the great quality and features of this bungee cord that I do not have in my current supply of bungee cords.Pros:* They are covered in cloth which provides a more quality appearance and performance. Ones not covered in cloth over time can age and can leave markings on what they are holding* These are flat versus round. Being flat, they will distribute the pressure of securing an item over a bigger area lessening the chance of damage to the item. Also, this will make it harder for them to "roll" off the item.* The wire hooks at both ends are made of thick metal and doubled back on itself to provide a rounded tip. This avoids having sharp edges on the end of the clip that can easily damage the item or paint of the vehicle that it is being secured to.* An indication of the quality craftmanship is that the bungee cord is secured to the hook not by a knot, but by a metal ring (picture included).* When stretching the bungee, the heavy duty material covering the bungee does not show any signs of being stretched as in light coming through or being able to see through the material.* Nice that they are all in a black color providing a nice lookCons:* I can not think of anyOverall: Definitely deserves 5 stars and I would highly recommend it.

At £9.99 at the time of writing, I think they are excellent value. They feel thick and very strong. I have been using them to strap luggage to my motorbike and I am more than confident they will hold things securely. No slipping, no stretching out of shape, and they stay put even on longer rides.The flat design is clever. It spreads the load a bit more evenly and does not dig into your bags or mark things up like round cords can. The hooks feel solid and are nicely finished so they do not scratch the bike or anything else.No weird smells either, which I have had from cheaper cords in the past. These came out of the pack ready to use without that awful rubber stink. They stretch really well and bounce back like new, which makes them ideal for repeated use.All in all, they are strong, reliable, and do exactly what they say. If you are using them for biking, camping, or even just sorting stuff in the garden or garage, they are a brilliant buy for the money.

Bungee cords are so useful around the home and garden, and these are really fabulous! They come in a poly bag and the 4 cords have good heavy-duty hooks on the ends which didn't bend when I tried to squash them! But the best part about these bungees is the fabulous material the ropes are made from.First of all, they are flat, so easier on the item you're securing. The material is definitely high quality, they say it's a latex core with UV-resistant polyester rope sheath with high tensile strength - I can't check that but having had many types of bungees over the years, I have to say, these are the best I've ever used. They really stretch, to double their size, and they even say they have a maximum load capacity is 65kg, which far exceeds any stresses I've ever tried to put onto bungees - it's food for thought. What else can I use them on!I'm fascinated by their claim, 'Resistant to heat, UV rays and weathering. Reinforced latex core stretch rope remains flexible and tough no matter what the season, and will not lose stretch or break over time' as bungees have always failed eventually, so these do sound longer wearing. If I find mine failing, I will come back here to update the review but for now, I'm smitten. These are great quality and priced fairly. I'm very happy to recommend.
