This little hook is a must have to protect your purse from sitting on the ground, having to hold it on your lap, or leaving it on the bar/table top. It can hold a fairly heavy handbag. I had my phone, wallet, keys, digital camera, fan, and my essentials and the hook held it all with ease. The back padding makes it non-slip and it's really small when folded so I just throw it back in my purse after using. The butterfly is a cute detail, I don't think it looks cheap or cheesy, and is a conversation starter when someone first notices it.
