As a younger semi-bike snob I understood I was to conform to road bike mentality and have the lightest bike possible. Since I gave up running for biking I eventually realized I biked for exercise and caring about tiny weight items was silly. I'm no longer looking for a place to lean my bikes when I get off them. So silly to see hundreds of expensive bikes laying on the ground at large organized rides as if children just jumped off and ran in to get some kool-aide. These stands installed super easy on my road, gravel and mountain bikes. So much more convenient. I wish I had done this many years ago.

I bought this kickstand because my bike did not come With one preinstalled. This kickstand is certainly a bang for your buck. So far it’s been sturdy, it stays tightly put on my bike really well after I’ve tightened it with a wrench, and it keeps the bike upright, even with some winds pushing things around.

This could be premature, as I only just installed it today. Old kickstand suddenly snapped off at mount. I shopped extensively for a replacement. There were a bewildering array of choices for a center mount kickstand. Aluminum alloy brands with adjustable length seemed to range from $9 all of the way to $40. Finally, I got tired of reading reviews for many different brands (almost all of which are made in Tawain or China and included many reviews complaining of product failure after short periods of use). So, I decided on this very low budget model because "it looked pretty good" in the ad photos. Amazon delivered in less than 24 hours. At unpacking, I was surprised how well made it appeared to be. It came with all mounting hardware anyone could need (I didn't but will save it anyway). Installed it in about 60 seconds. Very glad I resisted my initial impulse to ride to a bike shop only 2 miles away to see what I could buy and have them install on the spot (probably would have wound up costing me $50 or more. So, bottom line, at least at this point, I would highly recommend. Hopefully, it holds up over time.

Schnell montiert, jederzeit einfach zu verstellen und macht einen stabilen Eindruck. Durch das Zurückziehen des "Schnapperls" beim Einstellen ist auch ein versehentliches Auslösen sehr unwahrscheinlich... auch wenn es die Eltern anfangs zur Verzweiflung brachte weil sich auch durch noch so starkes Reindrücken einfach nichts verstellen ließ :)

comparamos este producto para la BMX de nuestro hijo y le cazo muy bien en el soporte de la bici. Es extendible con lo cual para los que no somos expertos en bicis nos viene bien por aquello de tener que resolver el tema del tamaño a la hora de pedir estas cosas es mejor ir la opciones que se puedan justar como esta. Se ve de buen material, sin embargo en la articulacion tiene un pelin de juego, recién la recibimospor lo cual tendremos que poner una nueva opinion una vez transcurra mas en el tiempo. por ahora contentos con el precio y el envio rápido.

Habe einen "günstigen" und dennoch guten und vor allem aber stabilen Fahrradständer MIT Gummifuß gesucht, damit ich mir mein PVC nicht zerstöre (ich parke mein Fahrrad in meiner Wohnung) und auch sonst beim Abstellen keine kratzenden Geräusche hören muss.Ich erinnerte mich also an die entsprechend hier angepriesenen Fahrradständer und habe genau diesen hier auch gleich bestellt. Die Länge lässt sich (dank der Produktweiterentwicklung) "einrastend" verstellen, worüber ich sehr glücklich bin. Denn ich weiß noch damals, da "verabschiedeten" sich die damaligen (und teuren) Fahrradständer von der Länge her nach einer gewissen Stand-/Nutzzeit und plumps, lag das Fahrrad.Das passiert hier nicht mehr!Ich bin sehr glücklich und werde das Produkt wirklich weiterempfehlen, weil es mit Stand Mai 2019 sehr günstig und sehr gut verarbeitet ist.Auch für andere Fahrräder ohne "Steg" geeignet: Eine Brücke mit längerer Schraube wird mitgeliefert!Zu dem Preis ist das meines Erachtens keine Selbstverständlichkeit.Insgesamt bin ich super zufrieden und kann man Citybike nun endlich so abstellen, dass es nicht kratzend hingestellt oder dauernd umfällt. (Habe einen Tiefeinsteiger)Klare Kaufempfehlung!!!

Edit: I just went to the hardware store to buy another longer bolt to fit this kickstand to a different bike. It was a 3/8-16 bolt. I used a 2.5" bolt for the new bike, since the included ones were not long enough.Prior to buying this kickstand, I was never really satisfied with the generic kickstands sold with bikes. They tended to be either too tall or too short with no real way to adjust them. Changing tires (from a rugged tire to a street slick) would alter the height of the bike, thus making the generic kickstand unstable.This kickstand is really amazing. First off, it is relatively light weight at 0.66 pounds total. Most other sturdy stands weigh double that, if not more. Second, the adjustability is super easy. Press a tab, move the adjustable section to the desired height, and set. No bolts or complicated mechanisms.Another selling point to me was the length. This will fit 24" wheels up to 29" wheels. The kickstand easily fit my 29er mountain bike and felt very sturdy because I could adjust the height precisely. To many, putting a kickstand on a high dollar bike is unholy, but to me, its a useful feature. I've had bikes fall when they were leaning against something. Never had a bike fall due to this kickstand. I've put this on my road bike now, and its so worth having. Dropping a high dollar carbon bike sucks, not to mention damaging the frame or components. This prevents that thought from even existing.To the real mountain bikers out there, I've taken this on trails and some sizeable drops, and the stand never came down once. The mechanism is so solid and makes a very confirming click when you extend or retract it. It also works perfectly on the roads with a road bike. No noise or jostling.To summarize, this kickstand is rock solid, will fit most bikes on the market, can be easily adjusted without any tools, and works amazingly well even on mountain trails. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one for every bike I own simply because of the ease of adjustment and how good of a stand this is. If you are on the fence about buying this, don't think twice. And the included bolt(s) can be replaced with sizes that you need with a stop to the local hardware store. 3/8-16 was the bolt that I got, in 2.5" to be precise.*Package included both a standard hex bolt and an allen bolt. Very nice to have a choice.
