High quality, not overly long like others, and just jumps between component stacks

Cable feels very sturdy - nothing flimsy here. The length is perfect for my setup, too. It should be noted that I'm also using a right angle adapter and that helps a bit, but I couldn't be more pleased, overall. 😊

I have this connecting a WiiM mini and a Schiit DAC. It sounds great. The connection is not as tight as other optical cables. Not an issue for me.

I needed short light pipe cables for my recording setup in my studio. These fit the bill perfectly. With all the clutter in the back of my equipment rack its nice not to have 2x 6 foot fiber optic cables in the mix. The perfect length. And I like the metal ends.

Just remember to pull off the protective nubs on end before you plug it in, or it won't fit I know because I tried, I thought they were hard to see on there as they are clear and not some other color they are also small and my eyes are old. yada yada yada But once you get those off they fit great works like it should. I had a old cable that was like a plastic tube and worked but you had to wiggle the end sometimes to make it work and it was to long, and this cable is just the right length and snapped in tight and is nice and flexible I would buy this cable again.

This cable looks and feels solid. It's thick and not very "bendy" or "breaky". I remembered to remove the little plastic protective caps from the ends and plugged one end into my DVR (Spectrum, Cisco 9845). It clicked in snugly and I could see red light at the other end of the cable, which I plugged into my Yamaha RX-V483 A/V receiver. I still had the RCA audio cables plugged in and they were still supplying the sound. After searching about in the A/V receiver's menu tree, I found where the various audio inputs are assigned to the select-able options on the remote. After assigning the optical input to "AV2" (my DVR selection), I disconnected the old RCA cables and everything worked.I bought this optical cable to get rid of that annoying 60Hz hum that was caused by my DVR unit (which has a DC power brick) not being properly grounded to the AC outlet and using the RCA cable shield for its ground path. The two units are now electrically isolated and the hum is now gone!
