I will likely find a place for this cord with some of my vintage cameras, in part because it has a minimalistic, throw-back appeal, but also because the comfort and security it offers is not a good fit for my type of shooting, which generally involves more camera toting than resting it idly on a tripod. The cotton cord is sturdy but at .4-inch diameter offers considerably less contact to the neck or shoulder than wider, flat, cushioned straps that more-comfortably distribute the weight over a wider area. For the same reason, the cord feels unstable to me, as if it is about to slide off my shoulder. I appreciate that the steel buckle and leather connector are designed to prevent scuffing the camera at the contact point. The length of the 49-inch cord is suitable for shooters of average build, but adjustable only by knotting it.

This camera strap seems pretty durable. The strap itself is thick and feels strong, which I really like. It also has a slight stretch to it, which in a way adds some flexibility when wearing it. The stitching is well done and looks reinforced, like it’s built to last. It gives you that feeling of reliability, like it won't unravel or come apart easily. One thing to keep in mind is that the length isn’t adjustable. It’s a fixed design, and for me, it runs a bit long. Not a deal breaker, but something to note, especially if you’re on the shorter side. It does look really nice on my Fujifilm XT3, but I will say it’s not the most comfortable to wear. Unlike the ones I've used before, with this strap my camera doesn’t sit flat against my body. Instead, it tends to hang at an angle where the bottom of the camera presses against me, which can be somewhat uncomfortable.I also tried using this strap on my Lumix S9 just to see if it would work, but it doesn’t fit the camera lugs properly. I know it’s not listed as compatible, but I figured it was worth a try. Definitely make sure your camera is listed in the compatible models before buying. If it’s not there, I wouldn’t recommend risking it.

I ordered this strap to use on a Fuji X100 series camera. For me, this was pretty much the perfect strap. There's nothing "extra" about it... I would put this at just about the bare minimum. It has a rope, leather ends, and metal rings to attach to the camera. The fanciest thing going on here is that the strap does have an extra leather tab under the ring to protect against rubbing to the camera body. for my part, this actually made installation a bit difficult because I already have a case covering the exterior of the camera, and that extra thickness plus the tab of protective leather was thick enough that I could barely get the ring through the camera attachment points. But I managed to do it and now I'm thrilled with the strap. This might not be for everyone, because it isn't adjustable. The length (for me) puts the camera about just about belly button height, which is right where I want it to hang. I'll update down the line as this gets some real use and when I can see how it is as far as durability, but initial impressions are that it's attractive and almost perfect for what I needed.

Often times straps styled like this one are made of a nylon cording which is more durable and resistant to water but they lack comfort as a result. Not the This camera strap! Instead, it trades the comfort of cotton for nylon and strikes a nice balance between comfort and strength. The leather tips provide protection to your camera and the included rings attach nicely to most cameras. Alternately you can use a little caribeaner to connect them. The stitching on the leather tips is red and eye catchy, providing a nice contrast to the black cotton cord. The sizing of the strap makes it suitable for small to mid sized cameras that are modest in weight.Overall this is a great option if you want a softer strap alternative to nylon.

Love this style of neck strap for my camera, as the thick and round cotton cord is great for comfort compared to some of the synthetic flat ones that always seem to rub my neck wrong. The cord is woven and feels very durable yet lightweight at the same time. The main plus point was the faux leather reinforcement points on the rings so that there would be no damage from the metal rubbing against the camera. Love that the length is also long enough that I can wear my camera off to the side comfortably, and can pull my camera up when I need it.

Nice strap. Was easy to attach to my Sony A7IV and seems just as secure as the stock Sony strap, but is far more comfortable to wear around the neck. It does stretch a little when bearing the camera's weight, but the fabric is plenty thick enough to feel confident it's not going to fail while walking around. The black cord with leather accents make for a nice looking strap that makes the camera feel a bit more "yours" than the stock branded strap does.

I like this type of camera strap because it is light and strong. The tips are leather with a small pad that fits around the lugs of the camera so there won't be any rubbing or damage from the ring. The only thing that bothers me is that the camera doesn't hang straight. It probably depends on the camera but the one I am using it on does not lay flat. Minor annoyance that I will probably get used to.
