This camera quick release buckle is pretty good and very convenient for quick setups, but I'm not entirely sure how strong it is yet. Since I have a very expensive camera, I'll be testing it out carefully to ensure it’s reliable. Still, it’s great to have the quick release feature for ease of use during shoots!

I've only had these on my X-H1 for about a week and already adore them... why did I not look into something like this 15 years ago? These clips are very easy to install on most strap and camera types. My X-H1 strap eyelets were a little too small to put these on without the original Fuji strap attachment loops, but I tested on my A7s out of curiosity and on that they worked fine, so it will vary with camera model. The strap on my X-H1 is an SLR style strap with thin nylon webbing for the attachment points, these clips accommodate it perfectly. I also tested it on one of my various leather vintage style straps and it works for those as well, though a little tighter to get the strap through. The clips work easier than any other quick clips I've tried, it takes very little effort to take off, yet feels sturdy enough that I'm not worried about it releasing accidently (though I will update my review if that does happen).

Doesn’t feel that strong. I was hoping for something like the pgytech connectors but they don’t feel like they’re even in the same ballpark.

This is a quick release but apparently secure way to attach and release camera (or other similar ) straps without having to fumble with buckles and other difficult, time-consuming methods of attaching a strap to any kind of device's attachment rings or lugs. I have VERY heavy vintage Topcon RE Super which has chrome attachment rings and a very nice, passed, no-slip leather strap, but no way to quickly detach the camera from the strap. I had bought a strap for another camera which terminates just as this one does but I already have the Topcon a strap I like. This is a way to attach and detach a strap to an object with no fumbling or effort. I pulled as hard as possible on these connectors and they didn't show any sign of failure. Its worth a try, and the price is fair and less than a strap which includes this kind of quick release device.
