I was afraid it would be difficult to drill through the floorboards. Well, for good or bad, it wasn't. They went right in and fit perfectly. You definitely need highway pegs if you are going to travel for extended time on these Spyders!

These look great and were easy to install. The only complaint I have is that the instructions donโt tell you what size hole to drill or what size socket to use to tighten the bolts. So it was kind of trial and error with that. Otherwise had them on in less than 20 minutes.

I ordered Can-Am Spdyer RT Highway Pegs made by Baldwin Iron Works for a newly purchased lightly used 2015 Can-Am Spdyer RT.They arrived as promised, were assembled, and ready to install. When I opened the box the first thing I saw was an instruction to return the item if my Can-am Spdyer was not a 2010-2019 model.Installation involved drilling 2 holes in each floorboard (after removing the rubber pads). A template was provided that could only fit in one location on on the floorboard so the holes would line up with the peg hardware. Take care in drilling the holes accurately. I suggest that Baldwin Iron Works mark a center on each dot on the template provided. All required nuts, bolts and washers were included. With the holes drilled I bolted the brackets in place made adjustments to my liking and tightened everything. Took about an hour and 15 minutes to complete the work. (That included locating and the right tools in the chaos of my garage).5 star product that will allow me to change driving position for comfort on longer rides. I am very pleased with the results.

These are solidly made and if they were shaped correctly they would be a great product. However as you can see in the above pictures especially the 3rd one the extreme angle that these are shaped . I would not recommend them for a Spyder. I'm sending them back and not gonna purchase from this seller again.

Replaced foot pads mounted to the frame of the Spyder, but they just didn't seem to be sturdy enough, and in fact, the frame was cracked on one side when I removed them. These foot pegs mount to the underside of the foot plates, making them much more sturdy. I fell no trepidation when I lean heavily on them in turns. A welcome relief to stretch out LITTLE, TOO..

The bracket is pretty thick stock. My shipmen came with a template. It is a piece of paper inside the bag with the horizontal running board attachment bolts. the way you know you have the correct side is the right angle from verticle to horizontal is closest to the side of the Spyder. the placement puts the highway peg at a 48 degree angle so your foot is on the peg at an angle. The Bracket, when installed, sits tight up against the side of the bike. If the vert to horiz bend is on the outside from the bike, it's wrong. i haven't installed them yet, but with the template you should be able to drill from the top not the bottom. i called them at 1-417-536-3787. They were very helpful.
