Motor didn;t run right, I thought it might have been something else (needing to rebuild motor) but then I found the carb was flooding the air cleaner. Turns out the needle seat would not shut off fuel flow. Bought another carb from a different supplier and this one is great. Dont need to rebuild engine

Fit perfectly and ran like a champ for about 3 months....Gray smoke one day, and after checking it out, saw that gasoline had poured through into the crank case with my oil.Upon inspection, the plastic bracket holding the needle valve in the float bowl had failed and the needle valve had unseated.Will have to find a new float bowl, preferably an aluminum one.

Have to pour gas in carburetor to get engine running. This is with choke on. Then engine runs great.

I have a 98 tractor with a Tecumseh 17 hp engine and I thought I might as well get a spare being it was about 17 years old. Then I had bucking problems it would miss and after doing most of the lawn it got really bad. I took a spark tester and put it in line and it showed steady spark. so I put the carb on and no difference. It was the coil touching the flywheel. Once it was gap was reset it started right up and it runs better than when it was brand new. When new it would miss when not under load once and awhile. Now it is perfect smooth and no miss also it uses half the gas that it did with the original carb

This carb has a terrible cheap plastic bowl and float. The bowl wont fill up with gas because the float wont go down far enough to lift the needle. Im attempting to bend the plastic float a little bit to give the extra room to hopefully allow gas in. Otherwise than that, the product looks good and was as described.

I got this carburetor for just a few dollars more than a rebuild kit, this is a great deal. It bolted right in place on my Tecumseh engine and works like a champ. Delivery was quick. I would purchase from this company again.
