So I got this to give to a friend's new kitten - and it's a lovely, soft plush bed, good quality and thick, retains its shape well and doesn't smell bad. However, the older cat - who really doesn't fit that well - claimed it for herself. It "works" for an adult cat but it's smaller than you'd expect for them to be comfortable in - but of course, you may have the kind of cat that loves snug spaces. Male cats are generally larger, so I would buy this for a kitten, or a female cat of small/average size. A good value as a gift or just to give your smaller-size cat their own space.

I have 3 fur babies. One in particular loves to burrow in blankets and is a total baby. He definitely suffers from some anxiety and I'm guessing pulled from his mommy a little too soon. I specifically got this for him.So far he loves it!! Took him a second to check it out but when he did he looked so happy! Very happy with this pet bed.He is a small kitty and I got the medium bed.
