My cat loves this bed. He waited for me to put it together, and once completed, jumped right in. He is around 10 pounds and fits well in the bed. It's very soft and thick. I am so happy the cat, who has to be in the middle of everything, can be close and not on top of my desk.It was easy to put together. 4 screws were the hardest thing. Not all of the holes went all the way through. It's very stable despite that.Would recommend.

This bed is SO stable! I threaded a bird-on-a-wire toy through the frame at the bottom and I think she plays under the bed as much as she sleeps in it, lol. The bedframe screws on easily to the side of the desk. There is a washable bed box with a support board in the bottom. It's roomy. The walls are deep and well padded for snuggling against. And she loves to rub herself against the texture of the fabric. It's well priced, and of the 6 beds in my office, it's definitely in her top 3.

Both of my cats like to visit me when I'm working. They often go in front of my monitor and I cannot see what I'm doing. This cat desk bed saved me and keeps a good stable place for the kitties. It is easy to assemble and it is very stable on the desk once you mount them. It is also easy to take out the bed to wash them if it collects too much hair or any other debris. Bedding material is soft so, kitties seem to enjoy sleeping in them. Size is also pretty good so, they are not too snug. It was also nice it came with a screwdriver so, no need to find my own tool to assemble.

My cat loves to be with me while I work on my computer. It's been a problem with him plopping himself in front of my monitor or on my keyboard or mouse. This is a perfect solution! Now he gets up on his own and relaxes next to me in this bed. It's very sturdy and well balanced. I have another similar cat bed that's on an adjustable arm, and that one isn't as stable as this. The con is that the bed floats a little bit over the desk and isn't adjustable, but it still leaves space underneath so doesn't take up too much desk space. Your desk needs to not have a lip or be rounded at the end for this to work. I really love being able to work with my cat snuggled up and sleeping or observing next to me. I was a little concerned that it isn't super cushy, but the cat doesn't seem to mind.

I received this cat bed over a week ago. I unboxed it, put the cover on, and sat it on the floor to assemble the base and before I could even start, my tubby cat climbed in and settled in. Since then, whenever I have thoughts of setting it up as intended, he's in it again. I've resolved myself to waiting until he's done enjoying it where it is before moving it to the desk. By then it'll seem like a whole new thing.

I’ve seen these all over the interwebz and this one caught my attention because it looked to be more sturdy than many of the other ones out there. So what did I think?Out of the box, it took me a few minutes to put together. Critique alert: as much as I appreciate the mini screw driver that came with it—so much better than what usually comes with put-togethers—but the screws are SUPER tiny and could definitely have been larger and/or make the screw driver magnetized. As someone with dexterity issues, it was hard for me to get the screws in. Once I got the base attached to the clamp pole, it was easy to get the fuzzy bit attached to the basket.Clamping it onto my desk was easy to do and now that it’s been on my desk for almost a week and used regularly, and it’s still holding strong and I haven’t had to tighten it yet.Pet size: the two cats that are using it both weigh around 8-10lbs and you can see from the pics that one of them fits comfortably. Of the larger cats that jumped up to see what all the fuss was, the 12 pounder fits, but the 14 and 18 pounders don’t fit.Overall: I’m super pleased with it (with the exception of the tiny screws) and I’m even more pleased that my screaming gremlin—who refuses to interact with the other cats and insists on gluing herself to me when I’m trying to work—loves using it, which saves my arms and allows me to be more productive. *cat in pics weighs 8lbs

There is a lot to love about this desk mount cat bed and a couple things that I’d definitely change.Pros: superior stability thanks to a hefty clamp and vertical bar which the cat bed itself sits atop. Setup is foolproof. Tools and hardware are included. Easily removable “bedding.” Washable. Generously sized. Lovely color.Cons: Bed is extremely firm: a thin piece of dense styrofoam layered with a piece of similarly thin corrugated plastic create the “lounging area.” Cats do enjoy cardboard boxes so it’s entirely possible that they don’t require the same level of comfort that I prefer… but it is far from plush! The sides would benefit from being higher for added comfort and stability (basically, I worry about my cat stretching and falling out because she’s fairly uncoordinated for her species). All in all, it’s a great addition to your home office if Garfield enjoys hanging out in proximity to you at all times. I think the price is worth it for the mount alone - especially because there are no shortage of cat beds on the market and surely I can find one more suited to our desires, should the need arise.

When my dad passed away, I inherited a mountain of hard drives, thumb drives, floppy disks, CDs, and hundreds of old family photos. I've spent countless hours at my computer erasing sensitive data and digitizing physical media. My cats have spent countless hours on my desk, knocking over things and stepping on things. As soon as I set this cat bed up, my oldest and bossiest cat hopped right in and watched me scan photo negatives for hours. He didn't scratch or bite a single piece of film too try to get my attention! That's a huge win for me these days. The bed is very stable and the clamp is heavy duty. The cover is easy to remove and wash. It seems really well made!
