I bought some of these as nicer for my cats than eating out of plastic but also it provides spares to make cat sitter life easier when I go away / for when some are in the dishwasher. They fit perfectly, seem good quality and wash up well.

The inserts fit seamlessly with the existing plastic ones, but they are too small to be used on their own. They serve as a great addition once the plastic ones become scratched.

They fit well inside the white trays and hold the cold a little better than the white, plastic trays. Easy to clean in dishwasher. I have purchased several so we always have them on hand.

My spoiled furbaby thinks she needs to eat at 4:00am. Mind you she has dry for 24/7. This keeps her food so fresh since it’s set the night before. I just love how easy the clean up is and looks so fancy. Just love these bowls.

I thought these would better than the plastic version that comes with the feeder but I don’t think they are, or at least not wholly. I like that these dishwasher safe, unlike the plastic ones. But it’s annoying how they do not fit the feeder well and sort move around. I use for wet food so they also are cold which may good for freshness but weird to eat off a cold metal dish — but that may be my perception more than my cats’, who still eat out of both dishes similarly. It’s nice to have back up dishes. If it was an option though, I’d rather buy more of the original plastic ones.

I would not recommend it for kitties on a daily basis. It is adequate for supplemental feedings (in addition to visits) when away for a length of time or on a trip.The good: Glad to have a stainless steel option.The bad: A combination of the squarish shape and slightly too deep bowl causes even my completely "starving" kitty to leave food in the corners. Because of this, a good amount of food gets wasted and she gets frustrated trying to get it without discomfort.

I think these are way to pricey. I dont like the matted finish, its hard to wash them when having wet food in them for hours. But I do rather have these than using the original plastic ones. The feeder should have come with these from the beginning but I guess its just another way for the company to make more money
