I was skeptical that the part would fit or protect adequately. My application is on a 2005 Toyota Tacoma 2WD. The cat shield is six separate plates with all the hardware needed. The instructions are clear; assuming you are or can become familiar with your truck's underside.The six plate sections are held together with M8 Torx security bolts, Torx bit provided. All sections and holes align perfectly.There are a couple of steps that raise the difficulty of installation. (1) To install the main shield panel you will need to drill two 7/16 holes and press in the two rivet nuts also provided. For this step I suggest using a good quality drill bit and a rivet installation tool. (2) To install the small bell housing shield you will need to remove two of the bell housing bolts and then reinstall the two bolts with the shield in place. Be sure to replace the bolts in their correct location and tighten as before to about 35 ft lbs. Otherwise, the installation is pretty straight forward.There is one small oversight with the instructions. No mention is made or included in the photos of one small two-holed panel. I had to surmised it was the part that fits at the tail-end of the large shield.The fit is perfect and should help deter those scum-sucking thieves. I digress.I'm happy with the fit and look.

Full aluminum plate for good protection, I had it installed at the dealership mainly Bc I don’t have a rivet tool. Now it makes it a little more difficult for Cat thieves to take it God forbid! I decided to get one after hearing horror stories of my buddies trucks and their Cat getting stolen, thankfully I’ve never had mine stolen but I’m doing this for prevention. I like the material it’s hardy and a pretty strong sheet of Aluminum and at this price point you can’t beat it..
