Used it on my house not a boat for my CB. Was darn good quality cable with real nice smooth rounded soldering not jagged. Excellent signal.

So far this is excellent coax. The connectors are very secure, love the long and good heat shrink. I measured the loss at 450MHz, was 2.11 dB, and the vendor stated 2.25dB, so it's actually a bit better than advertised. Nice.It is rather stiff. I agree with other reviewers that this is great cable for getting low loss in a smaller diameter cable and at low cost. But one does have to treat it with a little care as being stiff it could kink if you're not careful which would be bad. My use case is to install it as permanent from shack to antenna in attic of garage. I'll run it through those plastic stick on cable channels where it's exposed and use a short flexible jumper connecting to the radio where some flexibility is needed.I'll update if I learn anything after I do the install.

The white color and solid core coax is perfect for a base radio set up. I use it with an EFHW antenna and an Icom 7300. Works great with no issues.

This is the first coax I have purchased in 25 years since I was off the air for so long. I needed somthing that I could roll up when I was done because my HOA does not allow permanent antenna installations. As far as operational performance, this coax delivers the promise. I have a 1.1 SWR on most bands with my antenna tuned and the coax beats the return loss specs. On my 20 Watt SDR transceiver, I have made over 250 contacts in less than 6 months with more than 35 countries. I use my radio maybe once per week. But when it comes to rolling up the coax and putting it away, it is a real pain. This coax is very stiff and has a memory. So I spend 10 minutes uncurling the cable before I can set it up. I wish I had more flexible RG-8X. Next time I will look for stranded core that might be easier to handle in a transient setup like mine.
