I rescued a 6-7 yr old abused Chihuahua 10 yrs ago. I went through a ton of money trying to find something he would eat. I was afraid he would starve before I found something. He loves the Caesar Beef flavors also the Caesar Lamb pate. Especially the pate style food. I bought this because it had multi beef flavors I knew he would eat. I'm rotating this box of mixed beef flavors with a box of lamb to give him variety. He should be around 16-17 yrs old according to the vet and seems healthy for his age and has a good shiny coat. He's a tiny dog so he eats 1/2 package for breakfast and the other 1/2 at dinner. It's very affordable and I have it delivered using Subscribe & Save. I would definitely recommend it to someone who has a small dog, especially one that's a picky eater.

My dog won’t eat treats. He’ll try all treats just once then never again. He can smell meds right through anything I give him (lunch meats, hotdogs, etc..). So what I do is I mix just a bit of Cesar with warm water, a sliver of the Cesar wet food, mix it up real good in the water then add his Science Diet dry food to the mix. Most of the time he eats the whole thing. Once in a while I’ll find the pill in the bottom of the bowl. When that happens I’ll put it in a bit of Cesar made into a ball and leave it on the bottom of the bowl. I’ve tried it with other brands of wet food but he won’t eat it. So if you have the pickiest dog you might want to treat him to Cesar.
