I used this for a Cowboy Dressage show and it worked really well as a show halter. The color is gorgeous the beading is really striking and durable. The halter was also a little bigger than expected but that was good for my TWH's huge head, this halter ended up being a really good fit for her face.The reason for 4/5 stars is that the rope for the halter is thicker than standard halters, making it more difficult to secure the knot. The lead rope is also extremely lightweight and tried to come untied a few times. I use a heavy yacht rope for my training leads so this one was a little tougher to get corrections with.Overall, I loved this halter for the show, but I would not use it for training. I am putting my macate reins on it to use it for riding though because it's so darn pretty and I want to get more use out of it! Great buy.

This halter is super cute but the rope is much thicker than a traditional rope halter, which I wasn't expecting. It can make tying more difficult. I find that knots loosen up easier because of this too. The lead line does not come with a clip on the end, just ties to the loop under the chin.
