This watering cup for chickens is a blessing to have and is easy to install. I drilled through a regular utility bucket using a drill bit and inserted one of the watering cups. The gaskets help seal the water in. When the chickens peck at it to drink, they push down the cup to refill a fresh batch of water to drink from. I am very happy with how easy it installs and its simple, yet, practical function. Best yet, you get 10 in a pack. Such a great value for what it's worth!

I picked these chicken water cups to try they are made pretty good and that are easy to use all you need is a 5 gallon pail or really any size pail will work with the included drill bit you simply drill up to 10 holes around the pail about 3 or 4 inches from the bottom and install the cup then fill the pail with water and they do the rest they fill up with water and when the cup starts to get low it refills it self these cups are easy and convenient and work great to keep your flock well watered I’d recommend them to anyone

As described in the descriptions. Easy to assemble on a bucket or pvc pipe for watering chickens. Easy to spray out and clean when they get dirty. Built to last and function as they should. Perfect size for chickens to drink water.

I have gotten these a couple of times now because the chickens are now all fighting over who gets to drink out of these cups versus having to peck at the nipple waterers! We've now replaced all of our waterers in all 10 of our coops with this type of cup. There is a bit of dirt that gets into the bottom of the cup from the dirt that washes off of their beaks when they drink. Super easy to clean though, just take a cheap turkey baster and suck up the dirt and then squirt it out. They are such a simple design and yet provide a massive alternative to having to clean out a bowl of water several times a day.So far no leaks when installed tightly on either the PVC or bucket.

I've tried a few different brands of these cups. These are much wider than the name brand and slightly wider than other off brand cups I've tried. I don't know whether that's good or bad yet. The cup seems to fill up faster, at least. I know that I love the big rubber seals on these better than the tiny "o-rings" on all the others. The insert on these barely fit the same hole when I replaced a broken cup from another brand. Honestly, I don't expect these to hold up any better than other brands since they're still plastic in the hot Texas sun. Chickens also like destroying things. However, I expect they will leak less.

Fantastic design. Works great, easy to install and comes with the drill bit so there's no quests work for finding the right bit.I definitely recommend a bucket with a lid. I use old tallow buckets, coconut oil buckets and cat litter buckets. Washed out of course. But they're thick enough that the cup doesn't spin when touched, and the bit doesn't tear the plastic up.I highly recommend these. I'm using them on my quail brooders, chicken brooders, guinea hens brooders, they're a staple item in my opinion. So far, they don't leak. And I love that the washers are so big on these. Great item at a great price!!

These little cups are work perfectly to provide water for both chicks and adults. It's easy to drill a hole in a five gallon bucket and place these through and use the added gasket to prevent leakage. They are sturdily made and will easily hold a chicken's weight if they decided to jump up on them...believe me chickens are weird! I like these much better than just an open water trough because the chickens will defecate in their own water and that's not good. These will keep their water clean and I'm getting another set so that I can make more watering units so I don't have to fill them as often. These are much less expensive and easier to use than the galvanized tin units with them built in....yup that's what we used in the old days!

So I installed one on a 1 gallon bucket because I wanted to try it before I drilled a bunch of holes in a bucket. And water would not come out. So I tried pushing down on the cup, still no water. I ended up messing with the cup for a few minutes before I realized the cup had to be pushed up from the bottom before it starts filling up with water. I'm not sure if it's designed that way or what. But my 1st thought was, I'm not sure if my chicks are smart enough to figure out they need to push up on the cups before they fill with water. It just seemed kind of inconvenient. If my chicks don't figure out how to get the water to come out, I either can't use them at all, or I'll be constantly pushing up on the cups to let the water out for them. Other then that, they are a great idea, I love they can be connected to anything, super easy to install. So glad they come with the drill bit that's the perfect size for install. I could have installed all 9 cups in under 5 mins.
