This dress isn’t new, and the buttons are all loose.

This dress is gorgeous and very well made other than the way the buttons are sewed on in the back of the dress. If you like the dress it’s worth throwing a few stitches on each button to secure them better. It’s not a lightweight dress but that’s mostly because of the crinoline under the dress. Again the dress is stunning.

I ordered this dress for my 7 year old daughter for her first beauy pagent at the local fair. She's short so it's too long unfortunately. We wound up waiting too long to order the dress and didn't have time to get it hemmed. I was going to return this one and get a smaller one but it was going to take longer to get here so we went with another dress. I kept this one because it's so beautiful and the colors work so well with her complexion, she will be wearing it this year for the upcoming pagent. It's very well made and I love thr way it looks on her.

We ordered this dress for a wedding and I tried 2 sizes (2 and 3) and 2 colors (cream and ivory) The ivory is a lovely off-white (not grey at all as appears in the pictures) and would have been perfect . The cream was a champagne color which I loved, but the bride preferred the ivory. Now for the details. The dress is a nice quality. It is a little "fiddly" to put on, but the closure is well thought-out. There is a satin tie to lace the bodice more tightly. It is an allusion bodice so the child will need this in order to keep the front from dipping down. The buttons up the back have elastic loopholes making them very easy to operate. The hem is a simple rolled hem all the way around and would be possible for an intermediate home seamstress to hem on her own - thus saving $$ at not having to have it professionally hemmed. I think it runs long. The front would definitely have had to have been hemmed. We tried the dress on a petite 2 YO (19" chest, ~25" from shoulder to ground usually wears 2T). The bodice fit her nicely, but she was afraid to move. This is a lot of skirt for a little one to manage. If we had kept the dress we would probably have removed the train. Having said that, the train is not unreasonable. She was just too young to manage it. The buttons down the back looked as if they would need reinforcement to keep from coming off, but I am not bothered by that as it is common with buttons these days. So easy to hem but accurate fit for bodice for someone who is a 2T. (size 2 dress)I think the quality is nice. The satin is good w/o being too heavy . The sequins are nicely done and seem to be sewn on well. The 2 yo was fascinated by the sequins and kept touching them (actually stroking them) so I think they would hold up well. The only reason we decided against the dress was b/c she seemed so intimidated and not sure how to move in it. So we decided to go with something tea length instead.
