Works perfectly. I actually ordered this light for the car emergency kit rather than camping. I have a flashlight, but this light is brighter, which is also important if one is outside the car in the dark. THe bright light would make one very visible, especially if one has to walk. It is also easy to recharge in the car's USB port after it has been used. VERY happy with it.

Came to me nearly fully charged, YMMV. Got to full charge in a few minutes on my phone charger, it doesn't come with one but it does come with its own cable. Has five modes you can cycle through of varying brightness, as well as a red strobe for emergency. All modes work well. USB-C for charging it, USB-A for using it as a charger. Various mounting and hanging bits are handy and versatile, though the magnets weren't strong enough to hold it on the fridge. Pretty good for the money, even better with a coupon. Recommended.

I love this bright colored camp light. It features a spot light and an area light that perform flashlight as well as room lighting capability. The COB light does a great job of lighting an area just be sure to point it away from direct line of sight. The adjustable intensity settings of the COB light are helpful if you don't need super bright light and also help to extend battery life. The unit feels solid although a serious drop could cause damage. The case is plastic with rubber gripping making it easy to hold and carry. The swing-out handle makes it easy to carry like a lantern. The case bottom also has a pull-up hook for hanging as an overhead light. The lamp head swivels over 180 degrees and ratchet locks into 9 different positions. The COB light at maximum brightness lasts over 2 hours on a full charge then lasts several more hours as it auto-dims down gradually to a soft glow before depleting the battery. Recharging the depleted battery to fully charged took less than 2 hours using a standard charger and USB-C cable. The unit is the size of a small lantern, it's about 8 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter

Overall, this is a fantastic emergency light. It would be super useful for camping, blackouts, and any other situation where you require a lantern. There are several different settings, which include different intensity levels, a spotlight, a flood light, and even an emergency red light. The intensity of the light is customizable, but at full intensity it can certainly light up a dark room. It has four little LED dot indicators on the side for power level, as well as a USB-A, and USB-C input. You can charge it via the USB-C, and attach peripheral devices for charging via USB-A. On the underside of the lamp is a hook where you can hang it, as well as magnets to attach it to a metal surface. It's nice and robust, and the metal handle is convenient to carry it with like a lantern. It's really nicely made, and a good decent size. It's not a small Lantern by any means, and as such is a very powerful light source. I can think of a hundred different ways where this light would be handy, and I'm certainly happy to have it. For an emergency lamp, camping lamp, or light for working on a car, this is a great choice. I'd absolutely recommend it.

I told him, I told him there's gonna be a day when the whole grid goes down, and we're all in the dark frantically searching for something to take us away from the blackness of the abyss that is now our lives. I said you're gonna be happy that I got this little lantern. It's super bright, got a big focused floodlight, a light that's better at illuminating the whole area, and a flashing red light to try to attract the Help that's never gonna come. You can also charge your phone with it. It's got a regular USB and a USB-C output. The USB-C also is an input that you use to charge this thing. It's got a big magnet on the bottom so you can attach to the side of a car or something it's also got hooks on the top and bottom so you can hang it from a tree. I told him your dad knows what he's doing. Your dad had the premonition that there was gonna be moments like this and that those moments would need a little light. Now listen up I told him, when you go anywhere away from this camp, I want you to have this lantern on you. I want you to stay safe with it. I want us to be able to see you from far away and I don't ever want you to be feeling like you're alone or that you don't matter or that people don't care about you. Because they do. I do. A Rechargeable camping lantern doesn't tell the whole story when it comes to that, but it's a start.

This is a really incredible camping lantern, work light, emergency light, etc. There are so many ways to set it up. You can leave it flat and move the light housing 180 degrees to each side. You can pick it up and hold it like a lantern with the green handle. You can prop it at an angle using the green handle as a kickstand. It also has a hook to hang it front in a tent, three strong magnets to stick it to metal surfaces, and even a tripod mount screw hole as well. The spotlight and cob lights are both really bright. And the flashing red emergency light works well, also.I also love that it has a USB-A port for device charging as well.I am really happy with this one, the only thing I'd change is the button functions. Having to keep tapping to cycle through every feature to turn it off is a small but tolerable annoyance.
