The fitment was exact, and the engine started and ran perfectly. But the engine would bog down every time I attempted to give it throttle. I took everything apart and cleaned the new carb, in case some debris got in it. Once again, the engine started perfectly, but when attempting to raise RPMS, the engine just bogs down. I had a small engine guy check the carb out, and he said it looks just like it, but all it takes is one little thing ( jet, a different cut, etc.) to be different. For less of a headache, pay a little more for OEM

My engine is at least 18 years old, but it has a slightly wider bolt spacing. So, to start with, I had to cut out the ears to get it to fit the bolt spacing. Then, the gaskets didn't match, but the old ones came off with no tears, so I used them. The choke lever was slightly lower, so my cable choke setup wouldn't work. Lastly, it did work, but no matter where I put the little mixture adjuster (black knob), it won't produce power for more than about 1/3 throttle.I paid very little for it, though, and took a chance, and I very well may have an air leak from the gaskets, who knows. I'm going to go back and try to revive the original one with homemade gaskets and carb cleaning.

Easy to install replaces petcock and carburetor one shot. The blower fired right up and runs great I was shocked because of how cheap it was.
