I like cold steel so it dependent on what you use it for. I prefer a wood handle if I’m cutting wood but if you’re throwing it use caution one wrong hit and it will break. Aside from that it’s a decent toy

I bought these foreseeing a need that I guess will never arise! I have tried to destroy the original handle on myhawk. . .I have failed. . . I preferred the green color over the original black one that came on my hawk!Some day I will need to replace it. . .IF I ever live so long!
