パークツールのチェーンチェッカー ＣＣ-2は伸び具合をメモリで測ることが出来ますが、伸びたチェーンは交換のみの選択しか出来ないのであれば、伸び具合を数値化する意味は、あまり無いと思います。ＣＣ-2を使用して思いました。入るか入らないかの単純さが、本製品の良いところです。シマノ製での精度と安心感、ＣＣ-2との比較がしたくて買ってしまいました。機材、工具好きなら理解してもらえるかもしれませんが、オススメはシマノのチェッカーです。

Excellent laser/water cut and finish on this tool. It is made from a thick gauge stainless steel and very high quality feel in the hand.Easy to use. Measured my first chain quickly; no learning curve as instruction on the tool.

You can tell this is a precision made tool. Zero Friction Cycling tested this tool with many others and this was one of the best. When measuring chain wear, you don't have to be off by much to either be replacing a chain with life left or letting it go too far which damages the rest of your drive train. Accuracy is important.

prodotto arrivato molto prima rispetto la data prevista...per il prezzo pagato secondo me è troppo eccessivo per uno strumento del genere (24,99€ con spedizione prime), ma avendo una mtb con 11v ho preferito prendere un calibro affidabile....Ottimo sistema di misurazione diverso rispetto tutti gli altri....provando a misurare la catena con il classico calibro a corsoio era da sostituire da un pezzo (ero quasi a 133 su 6 maglie), invece misurandolo con questo strumento shimano la catena risulta ancora buona....per chi come me non è capace a prendere la misura corretta con il comune calibro, consiglio vivamente questo strumento d'altronde le catene shimano non costano poco....

Expensive. Does it work more accurately than the Park Tool that sells for 1/4 the price? I doubt it, but we will see...

There are many chain-wear-measuring-tools, however, these Shimano tools are apparently the only ones that measure the chain wear 'accurately'. Okay, that's good enough for me. I have the standard Park tool and now this one. This one allows just a little more wear before replacement is recommended. There's lots of room in my toolbox for such improved tools.I rec'd a great price through Amazon and have used this tool many times on my different bikes. I can't help but use both tools to measure and compare between them both.Yes, I'd recommend this, but, if I was to buy only one, I'd buy the 'standard' wear tool (cheaper) and replace used chains slightly sooner (thereby minimizing wear on the cassette and chainrings).Good luck.
