I had a 50 year old corroded drain. I needed a removal tool because the center rotted out with extreme pitting, nothing to grab onto, that item was bought separately. This item adapted very well and improved a tub that is in great shape.

Tubs that have the indirect linkage to the stopper are a PIA. I'd much rather have this pop-up style. Easy to install (buy the tool to take out the old drain). Works perfectly

Easy to install but I’ve had it for a year now and it constantly leaks. Not sure if it’s the o-ring or what but it’s annoying.

Ordered two. One was perfect, the other (still sealed box with Quality Control sticker intact) had a badly discolored/corroded top and the drain plug set screw completely rusted. Returned for replacement.For the good one which I installed, I suggest putting a little grease around inner edge of big rubber gasket, installing it under the tub, and then carefully using a pick or allen wrench to ease it up around the lower edge of the copper bushing so that you have a thread or two free to engage with the drain pipe . Do not use bare fingers to spin bushing into drain pipe. The copper bushing threads are sharp as razors and will slice your fingers open.

This came next day which was greatly appreciated! Durable metal and fits both 3/8 and 1/2” drain. Simple installation. Definitely improved the look of my bathtub project

Very heavy and solid. Well machined. Nice chrome finish. The twist and drop, lift and twist type drains the tub quicker because it doesn’t have that thick spring cartridge of the kick drains blocking the drain flow, it is also a cleaner design and seals really well.

water drains out, assuming the oring is bad what do i do ?
