I really wanted to try and review several of these cooling blankets, sometimes called cooling comforters.This one is nice and is very much like the others.This cooling blanket says it will cool you 2-5 degrees. The typical claim is 4 degrees.An average human palm of the hand is sensitive enough to feel a 2 degree difference in temperature.If I put my hand on a regular comforter then feel this cooling blanket I can definitely feel the difference. So it is at least two degrees cooler but feels no different than other similar ones claiming a 4 degree difference so I feel comfortable giving this the same 4 degrees.The material this is made of, like others, does not wrinkle easily which is nice.Also it is washable which is a must for me.It is difficult to measure thickness. These have two thin side with minimal fill material.It is easy to pinch between your fingers and it compresses to what feels like your fingers can almost touch together.This won't take place of a cold night breeze or an A/C unit, not even close.But does it feel cooler? YES.This seems well made and I think if washed on the gentle cycle and dried on low it should last.I am currently living in a hot environment, I will take those 4 degrees.To me something that turns these into a 5 star product is like others THIS BLANKET IS INDANELY COMFORTABLE! It is smooth and silky and I use mine with no top sheet. This feels so nice against skin. I suggest someone using one of these use it as their top piece of bedding.If not you wont get the breathable material advantages this talks about and you wont have an amazingly comfortable item against your skin to realize what this has to offer.I have tested enough of these then donated them I find many similarities. A Queen size such as I order are 90x90 inches.If you set your expectations to the relatively minor cooling effect of a few degrees and then use it as the top piece of bedding you will be happy..I can't say how others will feel about the few degrees of cooling effect. The text in this and other ads seem legitimate.But for my to decide a rating is made easy by how silky comfortable this is.I give it 5 stars and recommend trying it.After testing and writing a review I donate them to people that want one but cant afford one.But I definitely kept one for myself because its the most comfortable piece of bedding I own.I have one other still in my possession and think I will keep that one too. This product an similar ones have changed the way I sleep. I make my bed with a matching full set of bedding. When I go to bed the comforter comes off and the cooling blanket takes its place.Recommend

This is a NICE and decent Quality Blanket/ Comforter for hot Sleepers that is a Queen Size and will GREAT for hot Summer and Night Sweats. It is Breathable, very Soft and Lightweight and it does have a Silky Smooth and COOL TOUCH TO IT. I do recommend it.

Let me tell you something, this is a queen size duvet. If you want to stay cool, throw the covers off.

This is a light weight comforter, light on weight and price.The material is thin, and adequately soft. It’s white (beyond easy to clean), made well, and did not unravel during laundering.It does run a little cooler than your standard comforter, just not as well as those pricey varieties (over $100).Give this a shot, if it’s cool enough, you can save some money before buying something expensive.

This blanket is quite nice for warmer weather. It is thin yet has a decent amount of padding. The size is also just right, same for the weight.The overall feel of the fabric is nice and soft. Feels durable as well so should last a couple years.

This is a budget friendly option for a thin comforter, now that we’re heading into summer. I really didn’t feel any “cooling” effects, so that might just be marketing. It’s just a very thin comforter filled with synthetic fibers. It does the job at a fair price.

This blanket has a silky smooth cooling effect. I plan to place it in our upstairs guest room and, judging from my “testing”, I think our guests will be much more comfortable using this, than the other, more weighty blankets we have.

I just love this comforter. Due to other members of my household, i have to keep the rest of my home warmer than i would like. I struggle to keep my room cool enough for me to sleep comfortably.I could just use a sheet, but i prefer the feeling of having a full blanket. I have been sleeping with this blanket and a fan and have been able to sleep comfortably without getting hot. I would definitely recommend to any hot sleepers.My mother worked in a sewing factoring for over 20 years, so i had her check out the stitching. She liked the type of stitch used on the ends, said that it usually holds up well to washing machines.
