Battery life is a joke lasting less than an hour.

This is a very nice little self-heating lunch box, complete with its own carrying bag that's also quite nice; the price is a bit steep but it is a high quality lunchbox. The lunchbox itself is a mix of plastic exterior and metal internal parts, with custom-fit silicone seals that keep it from leaking - so it is, in fact, leak proof. The box itself is quite sizeable thanks to the housing and the heating element and electronics, which makes it somewhat heavier than you likely would expect, but it's fully portable despite that. The lunch box can heat up reasonably quickly to warm your food, which can go up to 212 ºF or be set at a lower temperature. The battery can in fact keep the lunch box going for the whole day, as long as you have it set to heat only when you're almost ready to eat. There's a little valve on the top that will open if too much pressure builds up in the lunch box, but despite that, it doesn't leak from the top even if you put in pure water. Finally, it comes with its own little carrying bag that's of quite decent quality, that you could easily use to carry the lunch box around or stash in a backpack. As far as downsides go, there's only a few minor ones. The lunch box weighs a fair bit, so you'll have to make sure you don't mind carrying a few extra pounds. It also can heat up reasonably quickly but you really will want to set the timer and have it heat up your food at a set time, because it will take upwards of 15 minutes depending on how much food or liquid is inside of it. The instructions aren't super clear either, I feel like this could have done with one or two more passes working on them to make them more clear, but it's at least understandable and possible to work with them. Finally, the battery caps out after around 30 minutes of active heating - so you can't use this to keep your food hot all day, just to warm it up when you're ready to eat.Overall, the price of this lunch box is perhaps quite a bit high, but it is a good lunch box and it does a good job of heating up food when you need it to.* I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis.* I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review.* I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product.* I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, and everything in between.* If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them.* And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

This is a decent, rechargeable lunch box! I appreciate being able to not be tethered to an outlet to heat up my food. This is great for people who work away from microwaves/or prefer not to have to wait to use one when lunch hour rolls around. It does take some time to heat up, and that consumes energy too. It is bulky, but the size isn't that noticeable in the easy-to-carry case. Touch panel control screen helps you select your choices easily. The only issue is that I found that keeps this lunch box from being comparable to other similar cordless types, is that the power charging cable isn't your traditional USB-C cable. It uses a DC-type plug - which makes it a bit difficult to find a replacement for if you misplace your charger. I've had a few of these cordless boxes which use USB-C, which is more convenient. Comes with its own carrying case and utensils!

I have seen these a few times on social media so when I got this one I was excited to use it.Comes with a carrying bag, the actual lunch box, utensils, instructions and charger. Easy to use display to set up a time to start heating food. Takes about 35-40 minutes to heat thru and gets food to a good temp. Easy to clean up, hold a decent portion and easy to store when not using.I have and have used the heat up lunch boxes that you have to plug in and this one just adds that extra ease of not having find a plug.

I have a couple of other portable electric lunch boxes, however they are not wireless and do require either a 110 volt outlet or a 12 volt DC cigarette lighter type outlet. The fact that this lunch box is wireless and can heat food using the onboard batteries is a game changer. I wondered why it was a bit more pricey compared to my other two electric lunch boxes, but when I looked at other available models on Amazon that were also wireless, they were in the same price range. So obviously being wireless is what makes the price go up but it is well worth it if you're traveling often. Now I don't necessarily have to rely on a charging cord. Perfect example, if you're at a picnic or on the beach, you can still heat your food with this lunch box!I used to pick up some food when traveling and take it back to the hotel. And as the evening progressed of course the food would start getting cold and most of the rooms I stay in don't have microwaves. So that means I would either have to eat it cold or go downstairs and find one of the only few available microwaves in the lobby area, which of course is a pain in the neck. Now I can throw a couple of burritos in this heated lunch box, plug it in for about 20 to 30 minutes and boom! I've got wonderful piping hop burritos again. I've also tested it with cheeseburgers as well and found that at first the buns would get a little dry. So all I had to do was put a shot glass of water in the warmer next to the burgers, seal the lid and boom! I had wonderful soft moist buns with my cheeseburgers. In fact, now I pretty much use the shot glass & water with most of the food I put in the warmer to keep the food moist.I've also found that it's very handy to keep some aluminum foil with you so that you can transfer food from a container or whatever it may be in to the aluminum foil then fold it up and put it in the lunch warmer. One other wonderful application I have found this lunchbox warmer to be very useful is, late at night, when I get the munchies but don't want to wake anybody up with the microwave, I just simply put some food in this lunch warmer and it quietly heats up the food without disturbing anybody.Be sure to set your timer for about 30 minutes to check on your food because it might be plenty warm enough at that point and you don't want to overheat it. Also, be sure to pop the little rubber seal on the lid to let steam out, especially if you're using a shot glass of water. It also comes with a nice carrying case to keep everything protected. This lunch box warmer has become my new buddy and best friend! 😀
