The temp is off 1-2 degrees C. Other than that, works great. Not sure about actual wattage, but it does seem to really keep the temp spot on otherwise.

I currently own three that are functional. A fourth (my first from years ago) failed in the "off" position, thankfully. I currently run two Aquatop Forza F-13's with one in-line heater per cannister in my 125 gallon tank. You would THINK that each would register the SAME water temperature and cycle on/off reasonably close together - but NO...that does NOT happen. In view of this, I have ordered (but not yet received) a supplemental temperature regulator, and will make one high and one low (27, 28 degrees) and that should protect against constant cycling on-off and act as a safety measure for failing in the "on" position. Otherwise, I love the notion of no in-tank heater to have to hide!

Works well, however not a fan of construction and size of hose fittings. Will only fit on fluval 207/307/407. Not big enough for FX series or sunsuns. However functions well and holds temp well. Easy to use minus hose fittings, and heats up tank fast
