About this item

  • NO MORE LOOKING OVER YOUR SHOULDER: Designed to allow you to look behind you without physically glancing over your shoulder as you ride your bicycle. CORKY X gives you a different kind of HUD. Fitted with a small mirror, the eyewear accessory lets you instantly look behind you simply by glancing out of the corner of your eye.
  • NO MORE BLIND SPOTS: The mirror sits at the very corner of your visual periphery, so it doesn't block your view of the road ahead and is mounted within an adjustable housing that allows you to tilt the mirror in any direction, eliminating blind spots so you have the perfect view of what's behind you.
  • COMPATIBLE WITH ANY GLASSES: CORKY X comes with a universal design that attaches to any piece of eyewear securely, comfortably, and in mere seconds. Weighs only 14 Grams and the mirror rotates 360°. Doesn't block your view of the road ahead.
  • AERO DESIGN AND ZERO VIBRATIONS WHEN RIDING: Aerodynamic form factor that allows it to cut through the air without bending or deflecting as you ride. A lightweight design that doesn't cause your glasses to tilt, and a minimal tolerance assembly that doesn't vibrate or change angles as you ride on rough terrain.
  • TOP QUALITY DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING: Conceptualized in France and manufactured in South Korea.

Designed to allow you to look behind you without physically glancing over your shoulder as you ride your bicycle, the CORKY X has an aesthetic that looks rather familiar if you’re a tech enthusiast, CORKY X gives you a different kind of HUD. Fitted with a small mirror, the eyewear accessory lets you instantly look behind you simply by glancing out of the corner of your eye. CORKY X comes with a universally retrofittable design that attaches to any piece of eyewear securely, comfortably, and in mere seconds. The product uses a highly reflective acrylic PC mirror that is comparable to commercial mirrors but at a fraction of the weight. The mirror sits at the very corner of your visual periphery (so it does not block your view of the road ahead) and is mounted within an adjustable housing that allows you to tilt the mirror in any direction, eliminating blind spots so you have the perfect view of what is behind you. While the idea behind the CORKY X seems outwardly simple, the product’s design process required a fair deal of consideration and was more complex than you’d think. The product’s weight, form factor, aerodynamics, and functionality play a critical role in ensuring it works flawlessly without failing or causing an accident. To that degree, CORKY X’s design specifically achieves three crucial things: A) An aerodynamic form factor that allows it to cut through the air without bending or deflecting as you ride, B) a lightweight design (weighing 14 grams) that doesn’t cause your glasses to tilt, and C) an error-free, minimal-tolerance assembly that does not vibrate or change angles as you ride on rough terrain.

It looks really nice and stylish!! I only use it on cycling events where there are many riders because it looks great! On the other 95% of my rides, cycling for training and/or leisure, I use a generic mirror that isn’t as aesthetically appealing. The reflection really stinks! I cant clearly see any image from the mirror. My generic mirror is a real mirror that makes objects clear!

Looks cool but the lens out of the box is so scratched and blurry. Either this is a used and returned item or super poor quality control. Very disappointed......!

So I saw this on kickstarter. Looked promising so I got one.PROS:- Well built.- Looks great and blends with the overall aesthetics if you have a road bike.- Versatility of adjusting the mirror and does not move once you set it.CONS:- Expensive side.- Has vibrations (don't think you can ever get rid of this no matter what type of mirror you use).- This issue makes it unusable for me--> The mirror does not extend out enough to the left so that when the frame of your sunglasses slopes in (instead of just being straight) the angle where you can see the cars behind you becomes very limited in such a way that you will only see cars if they really near you.

Form AND function are A+ This mirror has changed the way I ride and race because I don't have to turn around to see what's behind me and I see opportunities and dangers before they happen. This is the only mirror that looks Star Trek 🛸

Two major issues with this rear view cycling mirror. The first issue is vibrations. As of this writing, the listing here at Amazon says no vibrations. The unit I received vibrates very badly as I am biking. And yes, it is tight on the rim of my glasses. The vibrations make it hard to see the objects in the mirror, of course. The second issue is the blurry optics, specifically concerning distance. And yes, I immediately peeled off the plastic protective sheet placed on the mirror at the factory. It is easy to install. The concept itself is good and it looks nice. It just doesn't work as advertised. Also, you can't really tilt the mirror downward, if needed. You can move it easily side to side. This was a Kickstarter campaign, and as of this writing, there are two people who reported over there the same thing I myself have experienced.
