these windows installed in a snap. my van is now parkway legal. the self tapping screw supplied would be fine if you are mounting in a perfectly flat panel. my van has a slight contour. the screws supplied were not good enough to pull everything together, i used some slightly larger hex head ones that i had and it was a breeze. it will require 2 people to screw it together. i sealed the window in with some 3m window weld urethane.

they must have hired a cheap Engineer to design this. It works but it ain't pretty cuz it's not round and the screw holes don't line up. I used a lot of glue and sealant to make sure it stayed in place

Sorry - but the interior trim ring is NOT perfectly round like the window! The window itself is perfect and looks great. . . but I can't stand the "wonky" trim ring.So if you are not looking for a perfect fit/look, buy all means make the purchase.FYI 20% RESTOCKING FEE if you send it back."I had such high hopes having read all the reviews"TC

Product not as stated! Came without mounting screws. Not a big deal, but if you're not going to send them....don't say you will! Also, interior Al. trim ring is rather cheaply constructed. After seeing it, decided I will be fabricating my own. That being said, the window itself is very nice and has a good water baffle for superior sealing.

It is a nice window and does let a little light in which is great. For my 16 ft. enclosed trailer, I had to cut the inside of the silver aluminum ring off and drill holes on the outside of the silver aluminum ring for the side door.

I wanted to mount a porthole window in a solid door to my home theater that would allow persons on the outside to look through the glass and see the screen without opening the door. It is darkly tinted which is a plus. It worked perfectly and looks so natural in position.

I added this to the 1 1/2" thick door on my rpod 172 travel trailer. It added light and security to the front of the trailer without compromising privacy. First you can now see out of the door before opening, which is a relief if someone is knocking on your door. Second, the front of this particular model was made with no windows, just three in the back, so it added daylight, albeit a bit dimmed. The installation was quite simple. I used the trim ring as a template and traced the circle on the inside of the door and cut it with a jigsaw without even removing the door from the trailer. I then attached the trim ring to the window to establish holes for the self-tapping sheet metal screws that were included. Then I removed the screws and trim and placed a hefty bead of silicon around the inside of the outer trim and put it in place. My wife held it in place tightly while I inserted the trim and screws from the inside.Pictures available at http://sdrv.ms/17VDDP2Overall I'm one happy camper!
