This fit, but on my tapered shaft theres no keyway to keep things in place. It took me too long to get to my project and now im outside of the return window. Before tou order this item, make sure your output shaft has a keyway otherwise this is useless! Please amazon ease extend return window!

I got a bargain on a shop compressor but I needed to reuse my old compressor motor which was a 7/8 shaft. This sleeve brought the size up to 1" with the correct keyway, so I could use the 7/8 motor to drive the 1" pulley on my compressor. The steel is hard and durable with no rough edges worth mentioning. The key is hard and the correct size.If you are getting this for other uses, remember that this will make the motor shaft longer than it was originally.I like it!
