"I purchased the 12.0V replacement battery for my Ecovacs DM in hopes of improving the performance of my robot vacuum, but unfortunately, it only lasted three weeks before it started to fail. Despite following the usage and charging instructions, the battery quickly lost capacity. I expected more durability for the price and advertised features. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a long-term solution."

I have the Deebot 900, so my post is based on my experience with the deebot 900. When I first took the package out of the box I noticed two of the wires were not connected to the battery. I assumed these were a thermostat for the battery so I did not worry about it and pushed the wires into the battery casing. The second issue I had is the batteries are slightly taller than the previous battery. So the case does not site 100% flush. I was able to screw down the lid enough to get it to close, but it is not as tight of a seal as it was before. I have not yet tested it for battery performance.

Very simple to replace the old battery with this new battery. Seems to hold the charge well and there is 40% charge left after cleaning 400 sqft.

Battery works great and fits well but cables are a bit thicker and difficult to route.

This battery never charged enough, even after about 10 different charge/use cycles, to be fully charged, according to the vacuum. Therefore, the vacuum was never able to start one of the programmed cleaning cycles on schedule. I had to manually start it since the battery never hit 100%. And the battery would not last through one pass through the house - return to the charger, and since it never fully recharged, the vacuum would never finish successfully. It was tedious. Returned it for a refund.

Battery came quickly. Fit into vacuum (a little tight, might be how the wires fold under the battery). Vacuum now cleans the whole house on one charge and seems to pickup more dirt. Took 24 hours for first charge. Have now used it twice so longevity is unknown.

Easy to replace. Some good how to do it video on youtube. Just replace and you are good to go.
