This metal and porcelain tissue box holder is absolutely gorgeous in person. The mirrored finish and delicate floral embellishments give it a classy, luxurious look that adds a lovely touch to any room. It fits standard tissue boxes perfectly, and the reflective design makes it feel a bit more high-end than your average cover.However, attaching the porcelain flowers was unexpectedly difficult. The hex nuts that hold the flower stems in place were screwed on the flowers for assembly far too tightly from the factory. I had to use pliers to remove them just to get the flowers put on, which added a lot more time and effort than expected for such a simple installation. Once attached, they feel sturdy and secure, but I definitely recommend being careful during assembly to avoid damaging the delicate ceramic pieces.Overall, it’s a beautiful piece once assembled, but be prepared to do a little troubleshooting if the hardware is too tight out of the box.

I love this tissue box holder! It is shiny and beautiful. I wasn't expecting it to come in more than one piece, but it was very easy to assemble, and it looks great!

It hides the tissue box so it doesn’t matter what tacky designs they offer or whether it matches the bathroom’s style at all. This classic cover has been on our vanity for several months now & it functions perfectly, has a good weight to it & looks clean.

this pricey item came with certain flaws/problems:> i ordered the gold version; it doesn't really come off as 'gold', as much as a very orange-y goldish tint (kind of an odd color).> the seller is refering to the decorative flowers as "lotus"; they're calla lilies. one of the calla lilies arrived with the visible edge scraped off (i found the tiny strip of white paint inside the item). this significantly detracts from it's look.> the bottom has to be removed to load in the tissues/tissue box. it's held on by two screws. the screws were not well aligned with the housing, so when i went to screw them back in and close the box, it took a full half hour of futzing around with one of the screws, to get it to be as intended (i.e., flush). i was very careful, so i didn't cause any damage. but i can easily imagine having one slip of the screwdriver (while bearing down hard, as was needed), and thereby ruining this item completely by putting a big scratch down one of the sides.> the seams and the surfaces are not perfectly produced. there are many small flaws, like a slight ripple down one panel or a seeming tiny bump off the edge of a seam. the inside of the item is not well-finished, which might be part of the problem.none of these issues rise to the level where i won't use this item, but i feel like i'm being quite magnanimous. i could easily have been on the fence instead.given all these issues, i don't see real value here, either --and the exhorbitant pricing isn't justified for a metal alloy product that is difficult to use and has various other flaws. (fyi: my rating does not include any consideration of the pricing.)

I purchased this square tissue box mainly because I loved the calla lily flower design. It truly looks high-end in person and makes a strong decorative statement on the table. The thick silver-plated metal is quite heavy, and the flowers are crafted very realistically, giving it a strong artistic feel. I had to use tools to unscrew the screws, and there was a bit of rust inside. If the screw details were smoother and more refined, it would be perfect. Overall, the piece is impressive.

Very mixed feelings about how to rate this. On one hand it seems pretty fancy with the solid metal structure and sculpted Lotus flower decorations. That would seem like a 5-star tissue box. On the other hand, the listing clearly states the color and shows photos as a silver box but this is clearly a yellow gold! That basic listing fallacy would rate 1 star by my typical judgement. And then it's rather expensive. So I'm giving it 3 stars and saying if you like the color you get, you will probably be very happy with this thing. If you get a very different color that clashes badly with your decor, then you'll probably not be pleased. I would have much preferred a silver color but if I put it somewhere a gold box would look good (maybe not in my home) then it's a nice ornament.
